The Yurt Shop is open for business!!! Selling all manner of goodies - we have some Yurt cakes lovingly baked by the Yurt goddesses, plenty of incense and gentle music playing.

If you can't see anything you want just ask!

agy · 09/10/2004 12:02

OOh, that sounds great! Like the relaxed smile bit.

agy · 09/10/2004 12:08

Don't take the mick. I'm just a born worrier!

Papillon · 09/10/2004 13:05

i come from a line of born worriers. I have learnt to tame the worry over the years through journeying and hanging out in carpets
Have you ever tried rescue remedy - marvellous stuff or visualisation. Have you tried out a bean bag you could do some visualisation and relaxed smiling and cleanse the worry away

glitterfairy · 10/10/2004 18:22

Wierd Paps got told about resuce remedy on a recent trip to Dublin must remember to put it in my conference speech on Tuesdya as it will get a luahg. they used it for bad days on the ward.

Papillon · 11/10/2004 12:32

I gave some RR to baby paps the other day cos i am trying to convince her not to wake up demanding my mammories at any time between 3-5am! But she is a hard core addict and it while it calmed her down abit it does not stop want unfortunately!

glitterfairy · 11/10/2004 20:01

Alcohol then! or something stronger paps!

wobblyknicks · 11/10/2004 20:07

Apparently bourbon is supposed to be quite effective!

OP posts:
Papillon · 12/10/2004 08:29

Bourbon or otherwise not required last nite was MUCH better and best not get her addicted to booze as replacement for mama milk!

so cakes all round in celebration!

glitterfairy · 12/10/2004 09:19

LOl WK glad nothing required am eating heavenly black forest cake! YUM! Love the follow on Paps but may take me a little while to think of one back am going to ponder how to open that gate!

Papillon · 12/10/2004 11:33

glitter will you pass me another layer of that Gorgeous cake please. And I quite fancy some bubbly to go down with it - then we can run around later like wild women

Papillon · 12/10/2004 12:10

I have to post this and specially to you glitter as it really connects for me to the follow on. Maybe this is something for you to ponder on.

The handless maidens tale is about a womens initiation into the underground forest through the rite of endurance. This is so me if I recall my birth tarot card which is strength.... remember so you the fool is opening the gate.

Hello Snugs - funny but good I should see your name today you have not been around for awhile

glitterfairy · 13/10/2004 12:53

Hi Yurt Folk. Can I request some assistance with a suitably philosohpical ending for the Creative writing thread "Kids story".

I feel that the Yurt customers & staff are the ideal ones to provide an up lifting ending to our tale for Hausfrau !

Papillon · 19/10/2004 11:40

looks like you don´t need us afterall

lovely that you thought of us deep thinking types though - here have a complimentary dream catcher and a piece of chocolate cake

glitterfairy · 19/10/2004 19:09

Hiya Paps am still ill andlosing my voice as have been facilitating for two whole days now.

whizzz · 19/10/2004 19:22

Thanks for the goodies !
Glitterfairy - facilitating sounds painful maybe someone has some cream for it !!!

glitterfairy · 19/10/2004 21:44

LOL but no cream wont work. It is not teaching as such, just enabling a group to work together and problem solving with them as well as ensuring they have the knowledge and development to sort things out for themselves.
