The Yurt Shop is open for business!!! Selling all manner of goodies - we have some Yurt cakes lovingly baked by the Yurt goddesses, plenty of incense and gentle music playing.

If you can't see anything you want just ask!

What a LOVELY thread! (so I am attemting to ressurect it! A great alternative to the Land where the Bong Trees Grow.. a kind of more social place with the option of lots of lovely melt in the mouth goodies to eat.. none of which contain a single calorie and are all good for you!!

And I love pan pipes, wind chimes and dream catchers!

SJ xx

PS is the Yurt shoppe actually part of Bong Tree land does anyone know?

SleepyJess · 31/01/2005 11:35

PS. if there is a unicorn outside, don't be alarmed, she is very friendly

Well, having discovered the yurt shop I couldn't resist checking it out a little (I'm getting better at this! ) In answer to my previous question about whether the shop is IN Bong tree land, there clearly IS one.. Belle and I had a cantor along the shore and then I dismounted and we went for a walk. She kept going off on her own and then coming back. (So glad she trusts me again!) I found the yurt shop on a corner so went inside but nobody was around but I must have been expected! There was a chocolate cookie on the counter with a label with my name on it! It was gorgeous! It's so great not to have to worry about the calories!!) THANK YOU whoever that was! I have also left a request on the same note for something soothing for this cough I have. I lit an oil burner (something lemony) and feel asleep for a bit in the chair by the counter, listening to the windchimes. But I had to wake up because I have to go and do some study..

Oh and I saw a donkey in the distance whilst on the beach! Is this Esmerelda?

Feel a bit more able to get on with this boring stuff I don't want to do now.

Oh well I'm not using the Yurt Shop on my own.. or any other of these special places come to that! (Or at least I AM using them... but not posting about it I guess... because I feel a bit silly on my own. I can imagine people lurking and thinking 'poor sad cow.. probably out on car in the community! ' Where is everyone? )

I wish I could run away to one of these places.. and leave an alternative (brainer!) me to do my uni assignment in my absense.. oh and clean my house.. and handle the million and one other things I am suppose to be doing! arrgh stress!

That should say care in the community.. sigh

Papillon · 02/02/2005 18:04

fear not SleepyJess you are not alone in feeling this way... xxx

Papillon · 02/02/2005 18:21

I had to run then ... but am back again.. yes these places have been more lurker friendly than post friendly. But this is not a spiritual website, but one for many mums. Another site I have been to comes purely from a spritual angle and even that is not altogether that busy. But I have come to know that this is the spiritual way... insights are not integrated and can become misaligned when we try and stuff our face

I am on holiday and normally around alot more... when I return to my home in Switzerland perhaps then we can have more light hearted spiriutal banter if this is to BE. xx

SleepyJess · 02/02/2005 21:13

Wow! You live in Switzerland!! I am suprised you NEED to escape into 'other places'! Are you from Switzerland orginally Paps?

I am a kiwi Jess who lives in CH. HOme to visit the family and introduce them all to baby paps. Who is a total klingon might I add. She likes quiet spaces like her mama and gets overwhelmed by lots of people which this house has plenty of!

Her best time is from 6pm onwards when things quieten down and them she begins to roam and socialise more. There is so much I could write now some big stories in my life unfolding further but someone has smelly backside LOL trust the babes to bring me back down to earth whilst my head is in the clouds

SleepyJess · 03/02/2005 18:34

Look forward to the big stories Kiwi-Paps!
