Hi everybody and welcome from all the litotes fairy godmothers

There has been abit of interest in working through the insights, which a few of us already have been doing. So we thought we would get the ball rolling and start a thread to see if anybody is interested in starting with Insight One of the Celestine Prohesies next week.

So we love some feedback:
If you are interested,
if anybody has any ideas, or contributions,
or would like to know more about becoming a fairygodmother!

Here is Celestine Prophesies Celestine Vision website which has a list of the insights.

Also a link to the book at Amazon website

Hello all, sorry I've been missing I'm leading a parenting course tomorrow and also going to my church class tonight so had to study for that..... still no excuse I should've popped in to say hello even if my brain feels like it's going to explode! I can only concentrate on so many things at once. Have lots of stress but I'll tell you all about that some other time.

Marmaladesun, in answer to your Q re:healing I've been laying on hands myself and had good results. I told Melsy about a friend who I laid hands on. This friend is very straight talking iykwim and would've told me straight if nothing happened. She almost danced around another friend's kitchen and the look on her face was a picture, she had a chronic back problem and recently had a succesful op on it

I'm off out now to my course but I'll be back soon. Love to all x

before I go, two little coincidences happened today. One is a regular, I text dh for that to be the very second he's looking at his phone. Another, I bought proscuitto (sp?) ham pizza first time ever and dh had proscuitto ham sandwich first time ever. So he got ham twice but was as freaked as me.

melsy · 29/09/2004 18:57

hello juni

forgot to say paps , nice coincidnce today at the hospital with all those names, sounds like youve made a great connection there. Im so pleased for you to have some network were you live coming up.

melsy · 29/09/2004 18:58

procuitto/parma ham is my all time fave !!!!! I used to eat packet after packet!!!Its very tasty in a white crusty bread ,but v naugthy health wise !!!

JuniperDewdrop · 30/09/2004 00:04

Hi all,
there was a coincidence tonight that was quite amazing. One of the ladies said she had lived in Beverley (70 miles away) and the Curate said she was from there. Turns out her family lived in the same street and she was born in same hospital as ladies son. They're the only people I've spoken to before as far as I know who come from there.

JuniperDewdrop · 30/09/2004 00:05

meant lady's

sibble · 30/09/2004 03:35

hi all, i am of late an infrequent poster, more a lurker on account of new babe (sleep deprivation etc) but was wondering what bought everybody to the prophecies...or have i missed this conversation.
for me it was almost a chain of coincidences itself. i was having a rough time and needed 'something else' so i went to the book shop for a book on tai chi, found a book on reiki, remembered that somebody who i had met a few times a year before had mentioned she was learning, called her, started level 1 and the prophecies were mentioned over lunch one day at the reiki session.
for me the book put into words what i was already feeling and experiencing.
so how about you?

MarmaladeSun · 30/09/2004 09:09

Hi Papillon. It's a magazine publishing company that has been a long held ambition of DH's. It's his baby really, but I'm just there for the support. My business is hypnotherapy . Be back later when I can type with 2 hands!!!

glitterfairy · 30/09/2004 20:52

HI Sibble. Strange to say this section of the web site and paps but a friend of mine mentioned it when I was talking one day long before and said I should read it. The worst thing is I cannot remember whihc person said this and would love to talk to them now about it. Finished it this week and am having problems with some of it the 9th insight I am afraid to say seems like nonsense to me but much of the rest has really rung true. My problem is that when the end of a book doesnt hold to the promise of the rest I get more uneasy about the rest if you see what I mean.

Hope you are ok by the way and that little baby sibbs is well and healthy.

Papillon · 01/10/2004 09:51

Hello everyone

Always beautiful to chat Sibble... Glitter welcome back and we must chat about 9th on a new thread no doubt. I have not followed on

I cannot remember how I came upon the CP but I was in my final year of varsity. Had loads of good stuff happening but also parallel opposites with negative and sorrow lessons to be learned.
We learn everyday if we seek to and I believe that conversation can be like pray but not out at a single source. Life has more visual reality than the divine because of its actuality on the dimension we live in. Not discounting divine but rather the lack of substance against more physical aspects of raising the vibration with people and getting beautiful results
But that is more 8th insight here on the 1st thread... although we have said they are interelated as is the 4th.

glitterfairy · 01/10/2004 10:42

HIya Paps darling yes they are interrelated it is probably that I think the 9th is guff though due to the religious stuff which always gets in the way of the message for me and also sorry cant believe that people can become invisible. I am too prosaic and scientific and can realte to stuff about presonal relationships and wasy of relating even the energy fields which I think ties in wiht physics very well but complete no way about the other stuff.

melsy · 01/10/2004 10:52

IKWYM RE the end of books glitter!! I dont feel I have to take all of every book as the RIGHT way or the ONLY way, just adds more layers to our evolvement. I agree as the end seems far fetched with the transformation into light beings and going on to another plane. BUt I feel its a parable for How we move from solid beings into spirit beings as we pass away/over ??

My way into CP was through another book , my mum had Shirley mclains OUT ON A LIMB and I read that and it seemed V significant to me and my feelings. I think I was searching for what to do with my life : I had left uni , worked in various retail outlets gaining more hierachy , then became manager in a posh dept store , and got very sucked into material gain and how that can make you appear successuful etc, then I met someone who seemed quite spsiritual and it connectd me to other ways of being and thinking, I was suffereing with depression around then and my job was hard for me and my confidence as it was a real test. I lost a lot of weight (went down to 6 1/2 stone)a nurse thought I had anorexia and new I was becoming ill with western thoughts IFYWIM(hard to articulate it for some reason) , I had started going to the Mind /body /spirit section of bookshops often after work and CP just jumped out at me. I felt a lot of peace when reading it , but then dismiised it and went on to the next book as I thought I coudlnt incorporate it in my world then. It was all about how you dressedd and what big restauarnts you had been to , what clothes you wore etc , so Im not sure it would have gone down to well then!! I seemed to just lap up all M/B/S books and every time I read one I had to buy every one of each author, just to get that HIGH so to speak !!!

glitterfairy · 01/10/2004 11:03

I know what you mean about the book bringing some peace Melsy and there is so much in it which is good. I guess I dont believe in any life after death whihc again makes it hard for me. To me we have what we have in the here and now and the future belongs also to us but not beyond actual death.

I agree that you come to stage in your life whihc Jung identified where you have done alot of primary development of your personality and need to expand areas you did not pay attention to in the first cycles of your life as you grew and developed.

I get wrapped up in not paying attention as I have a butterfly mind and let it wander which is not healthy all the time. great for creativity but sometimes I lose the important stuff and forget things whihc are important to others as well.

MarmaladeSun · 01/10/2004 11:18

Good morning all . Everybody's reason for happening upon the CP seem rather glamorous (for want of a better word) compared to mine. I'd been lurking on this section of Mumsnet for a while, being very interested in all things connected with MB and S, but not really feeling able to 'come out of the closet' so to speak. Nobody I know, except for my sister, is the least bit interested and dismisses it as codswallop and just take the out of anyone who enjoys it. So I kept seeing the threads about CP and didn't have a clue what you were all on about, so went and bought myself a copy of it. Simple as that. Boring really!

MarmaladeSun · 01/10/2004 11:18

My reason that is, not the book

glitterfairy · 01/10/2004 18:40

No glamourous really as you were overhearing conversations and getting good vibes about it. Have you enjoyed it?

melsy · 01/10/2004 19:30

marmalde sun , I think whatever way you have come to it is wonderful , its given you inspiration and made a great connection in you. I hope that doesnt sound trite , but live in the feeling of being inspired as you have been. If anything youve found it in an easier place than some of us did !!

MarmaladeSun · 01/10/2004 22:20

Glitterfairy and Melsy...hi . Yes, I'm enjoying the book very much, although I haven't got any further for the time being as there just aren't enough hours in the day. I'm desperately trying to finish my diploma by Christmas, so every spare moment (few and far between at the mo) are being taken up with studies. I have noticed a change in lots of things though since starting it; I'm a lot calmer now 'at peace' maybe? I also notice other people's flaws easily (I don't mean that in an unkind way, I mean that I now see them as they really are, humans with faults), and I also know what I want out of life i.e kindness, respect, thoughtfulness whereas before that all became kind of hidden. Am I sounding like a complete loony? LOL.

melsy · 01/10/2004 22:30

No not at all looney. Im seeing the most amzing hypnotherapist BTW , for last 9 mths, I think her hypnosis opened many more spsiritual door for me. I have had some VERY spiritual moments when under and I mean like blow your mind ones. she alwasy makes me think of loving light flowing and healing colours and even though I knew about these mediation type times from books and study, it was great doing them with her help. I think it is the most amazing, exciting transformative therapy there is , despite it being one of the hardest as it really gets you in touch with your pain also.I really have been able to deal with what I used to see as really traumatic and personal frightening things , but now see them as life stuff. She really has shown me how to think forward all the time , which actually has helped me feel present moemntns far more. so wow to you for training to do something that will give life back to others.

MarmaladeSun · 01/10/2004 22:38

Thanks Melsy, seriously. Many people have thought I was weird (and that's putting it politely) for training in something so 'off the wall', so it's nice to hear a positive remark. I'm glad you're enjoying your therapy; I practice self hypnosis and it's a wonderful feeling . A perfect escape from the stresses and strains of life.

glitterfairy · 02/10/2004 18:01

Not weird at all MMS seriously exciting stuff. Am glad that the book is helping it has helped me although am about to start a new thread on the 9th which has me abit freaked at present.

wobblyknicks · 04/10/2004 21:42

MS - I haven't got a glamorous reason either, if it makes you feel better. I kept seeing the threads too and was getting more and more pulled into these threads by people like melsy, paps, and glitterfairy so I just decided to get the book too to see what they were on about.

I'll even admit that when I saw it and read the back cover, I wasn't particularly impressed and didn't expect to get loads out of it but read it and was blown away.

sibble · 05/10/2004 01:25

hi all, interesting to hear what bought everybody to the book, timing plays an important part. ikwym melsey, my life used to be tied up with designer outfits, lunch at the ivy, bubbly at harvey nicks etc. don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with it and i often crave the champagne and oyster bar in soho, getting dressed up and 'shopping' but it's getting the balance right isn't it - for me anyway. i still have my nails done, read the fashion pages and crave the right handbag but am just as happy walking through our paddocks with ds, moving the cows and relaxing i don't need to be seen in the right place with the right clothes at the right time etc....
oopps munchkin awake better go will post more later

melsy · 05/10/2004 19:07
