Hi everybody and welcome from all the litotes fairy godmothers

There has been abit of interest in working through the insights, which a few of us already have been doing. So we thought we would get the ball rolling and start a thread to see if anybody is interested in starting with Insight One of the Celestine Prohesies next week.

So we love some feedback:
If you are interested,
if anybody has any ideas, or contributions,
or would like to know more about becoming a fairygodmother!

Here is Celestine Prophesies Celestine Vision website which has a list of the insights.

Also a link to the book at Amazon website

Papillon, yes I am studying from home, although as part of the course I have to undertake a series of 'training analysis' sessions, in other words I have to be hypnotised and analysed! Can see another therapist turning to booze! LOL.

Papillon · 19/09/2004 06:38

ganja joss sticks and booze MarmaladeSun no wonder you dh is concerned

bump

MarmaladeSun · 19/09/2004 09:19

Mais non Papillon...not me who will turn to booze, but the poor therapist when he has to start delving into my psyche! I have a very weird and 'off at tangents' mind...this morning I put spot and blemish gel into my eye instead of optrex!

JuniperDewdrop · 19/09/2004 10:21

Oooo MS what are you training to be? Sounds very interesting

Morning all

MarmaladeSun · 19/09/2004 14:33

Juniper, I am studying hypnotherapy and psychoanalysis.

JuniperDewdrop · 19/09/2004 21:17

How fascinating MS, and demanding no doubt. It will be very fulfilling to help others though and worth it in the end.

MarmaladeSun · 19/09/2004 21:22

It IS fascinating Juniper, you're right, but damned hard work, especially since the latest arrival came. But once qualified I will be able to set up my own practice and work my own hours. Have had to study Freud a lot which has been an eye opener. I'm not a great believer in conventional medicine, and so if a lot of problems can be solved using one's own mind, then I am happy to be the instrument to achieve that (if that makes sense?)

Papillon · 19/09/2004 21:34

Makes sense to me MS

Glitter fairy was telling me about a methodology the other day which has a Jungian base i think. will look tomorrow for it.

Yes that makes absolute sense. The mind is a powerful tool. Words and thoughts can do harm as well as good and your work will be amazing I'm sure.
I'm interested in faith healing and have had some positive results up to now. Am delving deeper into it through my church so hopefully I can help others soon

I'm off to have supper with dh now, goodnight and God bless xxx

MarmaladeSun · 20/09/2004 10:42

Juniper, do you mean you are actually DOING the faith healing, or receiving it if you know what I mean? I've always been fascinated by it but have no experience of it at all. Trouble is, in my circle of friends and acquantances (DH is in the forces) I have learnt not to talk about my interest in any of my 'alternative' interests as I am then labelled as 'weird'! LOL...rather that than normal and run-of-the-mill anyway . I know it's afe to say that on this board as anyone who comes on here has to ba even a little bit 'alternative' themselves.

MarmaladeSun · 20/09/2004 10:42

My typing is shot to *gery this morning. Apologies.

MarmaladeSun · 20/09/2004 10:44

Papillon, I have also studied Jung, although not in as much depth as Freud. It's kind of scary when you start this type of study, as you find yourself constantly analysing your friends and family to see what their personality type is! lol.

Papillon · 20/09/2004 11:52

it was the Myers Briggs Type Indicator MarmaladeSun there are lots of sites about.

So is anybody ready to start with insight one... or we can keep this thread going... its over to you guys as you seem to be having nice chats here

You are both welcome in Litotes

I'm ready to start a discussion Pappilon. Well, maybe not start it as I am new to all of this, but will watch and learn and may venture my own little opinions if they don't seem silly . So who's first?

MarmaladeSun · 21/09/2004 11:01

Oops...Papillon I meant

Papillon · 21/09/2004 12:29

Ok MarmaladeSun - am off out now.. but will get something organised very soon! ...or Juniper you might want to start the thread, if you like???

Iam so excited as I have found my copy and am to insight six and it is really starting to make a difference to me already!

I love this book and am now concerned about control what type am I and who are my parents this will take some real soul searching to work out?

Paps should I get the companion thing to give me more insight? I like the energy stuff as well.

Papillon · 22/09/2004 07:48

We just looked at the 6th insight on another thread glitter. The experiential guide does give exercises and explains more of the concept behind the insight so you may well find it useful.

wobblyknicks · 22/09/2004 08:28

I'm ready, would love to have an in-depth discussion when everyone's ready.

Papillon · 22/09/2004 08:34

Insight One thread

MarmaladeSun · 29/09/2004 11:03

Ok. here's the weird thing. I'm up to the 4th insight, and whilst enjoying the book was thinking 'hmm...wouldn't say it was changing my life any'. THEN I noticed SO many 'coincidences' happening that to be honest it slightly freaked me out. Just small stuff but so many of them.

Papillon · 29/09/2004 11:10

Hi MarmaladeSun.. thats great!
Do the conicidences mean anything to you? Are you gaining insight from them?

MarmaladeSun · 29/09/2004 13:27

Hi Papillon. Well, for instance, We are in the process of setting up our own publishing company, and we drove 100 miles yesterday to pick up a desk DH had bought for his office. He got talking to the Brother in law of the guy who was selling the desk, and happened to mention that he needed a graphic artist. The BIL said that the guy who sold the desk was a graphic artist and looking for a new project!!! Also things like; I was sat thinking about my Father in law the other day, who I have only met once and that was ages ago. As I was thinking about him, DH said 'Oh by the way, I got an e mail of Dad today'. It's happeneing all the time. Is it just me reading into it do you think?

Papillon · 29/09/2004 18:15

You are noticing patterns and coicidences - it is good when they affirm where your going in life... small actualisations of your pathway. I suppose they could also be called sign posts.

I went to visit a very new friend and now mother in hospital today. 10 minutes after i arrived a woman arrived to also visit. There were another couple in the room and the babies name was the same as the womans husband and her and I had the same name. ! So as she is a new friend I see that as a good signpost

All the best with the publishing company - any books in particular that you are wishing to publish?
