I found this prayer on Facebook and tought it was a beautiful way to start the new prayer thread.

There was a beautiful picture with it too, but I don’t know how to transfer that.

It's SATs week. Ds Has not remembered. He got home at 11.30 last night so very tired and on a hair trigger.

I'm going to try and get back into my podcast that I find really helpful (Pray as you Go).
We are seeing someone at the LEA tomorrow about DS' appalling EHCP. And looking at schools.
Everyone I tell that current school wants him out is horrified.

As BES says, keep breathing Becca. Maybe try thinking the Lord’s Prayer or one of the short prayers: Lord have mercy on me, a sinner.
Or: Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again, anything like that.
Best of luck to ds BES, maybe just as well he has not remembered.
And best of luck DrSpouse with finding a new school for ds.

Rang social worker as badly struggling to be told they've taken afternoon and tomorrow off for annual leave. They were meant to see me tomorrow. Devastated. They told reception they'd informed me but actually they just sent in response to my distressed email last night about desperately needing support asking me to ring/go in today which they do when things are really bad. No mention about cancelling.

Hurting so much. Not allowed to talk to anyone else because they lied saying they'd told me Sad

I'm getting there, ish. It's been a long one this time and very wobbly and weak still. Trying to get into writing my next book - have thousands of words of notes, but a bit lost at the moment at where exactly to go with them. Need to make myself sit down and just do it, I think, but prayer would be most appreciated.

Appointment today was very hard triggering another attack.
It's also very hot here which is bad news for my conditions.

last day of sats, it has been tricky.

I am shattered. was ok earlier and could not nap whan I had chance, now it is school run time and I am shattered! bloody murphy. got to do the swim run as well.

ds will not wear sun spray but is getting burned.

Still struggling.
I am remembering you all in prayer even though I'm not posting. Am finding it hard to post. Had another nasty attack today. Very hot where I live this afternoon which doesn't help nor does barely sleeping last night.
I hope you're all ok.

Well done on painting a ceiling I'd never be able to do that! Not only from a physical health point of view but I just know I'd end up with more paint on me than the ceiling!!!!

I got paint specks on my contact lenses when I painted a ceiling once...
Church this morning, we have no Sunday school due to a hole in the floor but both DCs actually played nicely. I really got something out of it which doesn't always happen.
Prayers for our awful school situation would be appreciated.

thats good! And actually now I've thought about it makes sense! I was thinking in terms of it going into your actual eye but I guess the lense would protect your eye so it was a good thing in a way.

Ok, must get on with shopping and off MN! Is very hot here st the moment. No idea why metoffice etc saying it's only 15c! Nope!!

I don't know if your remember that I asked for prayers for my son who has kidney cancer but here is an update. He was told he would have his operation last weekend which he was surprised at because when we saw the consultant he had wanted a check on his lungs before he operated as my ds was found to have sarcodosis when he had a scan earlier this year. Ds only found out that the op was cancelled 2 days before the op and then when he went to the hospital on Wednesday for an appointment with the consultant he was told haf an hour before the consultation that the appointment was cancelled. The call came when he was already at the hospital so as you can imagine he was very upset.

On Thursday he saw the lung specialist and things now seem to be moving as he has a biopsy of his lung next Wednesday and the results will be with the renal consultant within a week.

Please pray for him on Wednesday and that there is no cancer in his lung so the kidney operation can take place as soon as possible.
