Today, I am grateful for a new year and a fresh start and for time spent with my family.x

Lunch out with MIL who has been quite unwell. She's never going to be back to her old self (she's 88 and very frail) but she was in good spirits and has some of her spark back.

Seeing DD so relaxed and happy having finished her A levels.

DS (12) end of year report. He had a tough first term at Senior School and struggles withanxiety. His form teacher wrote a lovely comment about how kind he is and how nice it is to see him thriving.

Copious amounts of line drying this weekend.
An invitation to a barbecue this evening with lovely family.

I'm profoundly grateful for finding a vet who has restored my very depleted faith in their profession and given my elderly cats a new lease of life.

Yes it is Optimist. I find it very therapeutic and am grateful for this. Thank you he does

Nice to see you fairies I love to read others gratitudes and find this such a warm and welcoming place. Less's line dried washing and optimist's optimism are a lovely warm blanket. I hope both, and all others, are well.

Freedom of choice, we have some way to go but it's easy to forget how much freedom we have versus years ago Or other women in the world now.
