Before I start, I just want to be quite clear that I'm not trying to be contentious or antagonistic. I'm a person of a different faith, who accepts the plurality of faiths, and wants to live in peace and understanding with others.

My question is about Jesus's death atoning for your sins. Does he not atone for all sins past and future, so that others can believe in him and also receive this atonement? In which case, why do you need to behave ethically?

What makes your interpretation more authoritative than my own?

Why do I think you're mistaken in believing the God of the bible is morally superior? Because in my mind it doesn't stand up to basic logical scrutiny.

Really? I intervene if I see behaviour which is damaging and dysfunctional. I don't judge the person. I acknowledge they are more than just an isolated piece / series of behaviour(s). I recognise I am only seeing part of a larger picture. I don't attempt to compare their morality to my own in terms of whose morality is inferior

Yeah I'd intervene if there was obvious risk of harm like a man punching a woman. But otherwise I would still judge an action on a moral scale. Not intentionally. It's just how I decide what I would and wouldn't do. For example if i know someone is cheating the benefits system I would think that's wasn't neutral. I would appreciate that person wasn't all bad but I'm not doing that. It's action by action. I think we're getting our wires crossed as I'm positive you judge people's actions. How else do you know what your values are?
