And of course, Orchid you are not at all fed up of being ill, of course not. Glad you have some antibiotics, make sure you have some live yoghurt as well. Try to look after yourself, because it does not look as if anybody else will.

I actually did have an immune system issue when I was married (it would out me if I said what it was) but it has cleared. It was quite noticeable. I still get migraines and panic attacks as a kind of left over. There is a good book called Love, medicine and miracles by Bernie Siegel. a surgeon; the book looks at the connections between emotional and physical health. I would recommend it.

Well, some external support has removed the spanner H chucked in the works, so I honestly, truly thank you for your prayers. I pray for respite before the next one.

Some of you know of my relationship woes. Today it looks like we are actually going to separate in the New Year. Prayers for our 3 DC please. Thank you.

Prayers for you and DC Edd . You will be able to worship freely, as you should be able to do. I hope you and dp will move forward as a parenting team for three lovely DC.

The tree is up. We tackle the Play Mobil crib tomorrow. Every year the crib descends into mayhem as figures fall over and random Play Mobil figures join the Holy Family. I don't think a bearded Barbecuer paid homage to the Infant Lord, for instance but he turned up last year. Still it's a lovely Nativity set and we bought the Three Wise men set too so it is complete.

Prayers for all on this thread in all their different situations and with all their different needs, and for all who are preparing to come to the stable to worship the infant Jesus at this season even the bearded barbecuer.

Haven't gone to work today as feel rubbish. Unloaded on the phone to a friend this morning which kind of helped but then was sick after - not sure if it was nerves or antibiotics.

Oh bes, I need to chuck the spanner right back at H, my respite was short-lived. It took him less than 24 hours to come from another angle. I am at Lisettes reference to my woes though, I was born on a Wednesday. It is one woe, though, human male shaped.

Orchid I hope you feel a bit better. Sorry you were sick, that can sometimes be a stress reaction. You cannot help being ill and the comments by your DH are thoughtless. I pray for healing and calm for you.

Bloomed, I hope the dice land with good numbers, whatever they may be. Nothing is really certain, even when you think it is. Hold on to God's love and your faith.

I said a prayer yesterday in a tiny tiny chapel which was filled with poinsettias. There was just enough room for the altar, the advent wreath, the plants and one row of seats. Praying for ozy's friend and friend's husband and bloomed - given your name bloomed I remembered a saying that sometimes when you feel overwhelmed and buried, it may be the case that you've been planted (rather than buried).

Thinking and praying also about Aleppo. 5 years of that war...

I'm going to hospital this afternoon for tests. I have to go on my own as friends in RL can't make it. Dh is watching ds carol concert ( asked him to ask dmil to watch so he could come but he hasn't). I'm scared to go anyway due to anxiety, general stress in my house at mo and worried if they'll tell me anything bad. Please pray for calmness in my head and heart and that all will be well.

Thank you Cocoa and Lisette. I like the image of being planted, not buried. I want to make sure that I really take the chance at a fresh start, also in my attitude. I can't get online very often at the moment but will be back whenever I can.

orchid I'm not so busy this afternoon so I can be with you in spirit and will pray to the Holy Spirit for strength for you and good news. As it happens a friend abroad is having a stressful work meeting with Personnel today at 3 so I'm praying for her as she has anxiety.

He's back! I thought he'd been removed from the set last year. The livestock are not happy...

lissette pic made me smile! Was very thankful that journey to hospital calm- nice taxi driver. Panicky on arrival but listened to relation app and bought paper from little shop. It was strange as the first room I had tests in had lovely radiologist who had aircon on high ( nice to be cool when stressed) she was chatting to me and I said I was anxious she said not to worry she had done some counciilling and understood. Was v calming. Really felt she was meant to be in my room. - there were other rooms.
