Ok, not doing this for profit, just in response to some MN'ers asking - so hopefully this isn't advertising.

But anyone who wants me to make a bracelet (or other jewellery) for them, can you post on here

Blimey Paps wow many beautiful names there. My ankle is a whopping 28 cms wk. Am very impressed with every one I have seen in all your links and could go for all of them. My engagement ring is a pink tourmaline what does that do? Oh and diamonds as well.

wobblyknicks · 18/05/2004 08:28

paps - think that would look gorgeous!!!

gf - is that 28cm 'tight' or the actual length you'd want it? What I mean is, would you want the anklet to be quite tight or hang a bit looser (ie add a couple of cms)? And;

Diamond: Usually clear, but can be many colors. Known as a master healer, this stone breaks up blockages in both the crown chakra, and the personality. Diamond is considered to be a magickal stone of great power. It inhances all energies in the body, mind and spirit, thus helping with alignment of the higher self. It also helps with the functions of the brain, and gives victory, great strength, and courage.

Tourmaline:Many colors. Can build up and maintain a powerful personal protection field. A prime protection stone, tourmaline can ward off fear and negativity, while inspiring self-confidence and understanding. Helps to balance the endocrine system, and revitalizes the body and mind. Helps with concentration and inspiration, so it is also helpful to artists, writers, actors musicians and others in the fields of the arts. Helps in being less involved in emotionally charged issues, and to be more objective.
Very powerful healer on all levels. Can aid sleep. Strengthens and revitalizes body and mind.

I didn't find anything specifically on pink tourmaline atm.

By the way, I copied and posted those explanations so the disgraceful spelling is nothing to do with me!!!

OMG - I didn't realise how long it had been since I last posted on here!!! Had major pc problems (and problems with UH) but I'm back on now!!

I've found a couple of good sites for supply, but am still looking for a good range of stones.

Anyone still interested in having a bracelet (understand if you've got bored and wandered off now!!)?

OP posts:
papillon · 22/06/2004 12:35

You sound like you have been having lots of fun so you have good excuses :

but I have wandered off and am broke and saving for mumnet party etc etc etc

wobblyknicks · 22/06/2004 12:39

paps - yep, had great fun in Surrey (but have been tearing my hair out at home!!).

No probs if you've wandered off - I'm just sorry it's been so long!!!! The major problem is sourcing stuff - I didn't realise it would be so hard to get a good range. I haven't even started on the bracelet for myself (which kicked the whole thing off) because I just can't find a lot of stuff.

OP posts:
DelGirl · 22/06/2004 17:18

Hi WK - i'm interested in getting a piece of Rose Quartz, or a bracelet made up of it if you know where one can be found. Thanks

wobblyknicks · 23/06/2004 11:41

delgirl - just tell me what you want. Would you want a bracelet made up of chips of rose quartz, or round beads or flat stones?

OP posts:
papillon · 23/06/2004 11:46

You need to come and visit me in bern WK - we have a great shop here that only sells stones, crystals. The woman does alot of necklaces based on astro charts. Always see kids with her birth chart necklaces or amber ones.
