Ok, not doing this for profit, just in response to some MN'ers asking - so hopefully this isn't advertising.

But anyone who wants me to make a bracelet (or other jewellery) for them, can you post on here

You're Martin Luther!! You're doing very well 'evolving' then!!!

OP posts:
wobblyknicks · 11/05/2004 10:27

I don't mind you changing your mind a lot, or evolving - as long as you end up with something you're happy with!!

OP posts:
melsy · 11/05/2004 10:27

oh no I cant stop food charms . Like the cheese / sandwhich/cutlery!!!???? will have to have a think !!

wobblyknicks · 11/05/2004 10:29

Lol - aren't they sweet!!!!

I hate getting to the nitty gritty - cost, but when you've 'evolved' your ideas enough, you'll have to tell me roughly how much you want to pay so I know what charms to get etc etc.

melsy · 11/05/2004 10:36

Of course cost is paramount, ou have to know . I will ask dh if he will help me for my birthday.

My dh will love these ones !! cookware . I think this is bringing out the kid in me, he also is a merchandise manager for this product at a well known supermarket head office.

We will have to evolve one for you, what would be your life story on yours???

wobblyknicks · 11/05/2004 10:38

Oh god, I've realised there's far too much choice for me to do one atm!!! That's going to take me half my life just to design!!!

Can do one whatever your budget - just obviously I need to know before I buy everything!!! Am getting nervous now, if its for your birthday, will I do it good enough!!!

OP posts:
wobblyknicks · 11/05/2004 10:42

That cookware one looks good - loads of choice for you!!!

Thabks for the link to that other charms site - the range is huge!!!! And according to the order form, global postage is $10 - excellent!!!

Horrible me Ive overloaded you. I am going to creep away now and stop. Or do I need to take you to our special home vision place??? BIG BIG BIG apologies. sorry sorry sorry , just get excited. I Shouldnt have let myself get carried away.

Im sure it will be beautiful wobbly, as you are taking your special creative visionary energy to do it. xxxxxxxxxxxxx

wobblyknicks · 11/05/2004 10:48

Don't worry melsy!!! I just get far too excited too easily. No, I'm really really glad you put a link to that site, I've been looking for somewhere that has loads of nice charms and that one was brilliant. I've got to go and do some horrible RL stuff soon (why can't I live on MN?) but I'm going to sit down tonight and go through those charms and try and pick out ones I like. The 'B' ones work out at roughly £5.70 each, so not too huge prices.

Let yourself get as carried away as you like, I'll just be here getting excited with you!!!

Thanks for the support, I hope it'll be nice!!

Have agood day, Im glad it helped you. There are some brilliant sites. Will have to have emails so we talk cost in more detail. Will need to give you money first , so you have funds to buy the bits.

wobblyknicks · 11/05/2004 10:55

You can email me at wobblyknicks at hotmail.com. Then we can talk in more detail. Am not sure how much you're thinking of spending but as long as its not masses, I don't mind paying for the stuff first and you just pay when I finish.

glitterfairy · 12/05/2004 05:23

Wk cant sleep and just looked at charms on your link and thought the heart with ros was gorgeous also liked the sun and both the fairys!

wobblyknicks · 12/05/2004 09:02

gf - just decide what you want and I'll do one huge order.

OP posts:
glitterfairy · 12/05/2004 09:35

THose charms I said and a nice mixture of stones will do me fine. Also was vaguely toying with the idea of an ankle bracelet of only charms at some point would that be possible as I know you have alot of orders on now? Glad it is all going so well and make it a business!

wobblyknicks · 12/05/2004 09:36

the anklet would be fine - I know I've got a lot of demand (oh, the pressure of being popular!!) but I can handle it - just waiting for people to MAKE UP THEIR MINDS!!!!

OP posts:
glitterfairy · 13/05/2004 10:14

LOL Thanks wk will send you a measurement soon.

wobblyknicks · 13/05/2004 10:15

Ok gf!!! Hate to get down to 'business' but everyone will also have to email me the rough amount they want to spend so I can make sure the stuff's going to fit into that or discuss it if it's not.

OP posts:
glitterfairy · 14/05/2004 16:51

Wk have no idea how much is usual? Feel like saying spend what is necessary but a rough idea of cost would be useful.

froot · 14/05/2004 19:23

message withdrawn

wobblyknicks · 15/05/2004 08:16

gf - depending on what you want to spend, I can do all different things so wouldn'y mind a rough idea so I can make some suggestions.

froot - really sorry - I've checked all the charm sites I know and there's nothing like that on any of them, I'm sorry. Could you go back to where you bought it and see if they could help? As for the bracelets - join the queue by all means! What sort of thing would you like?

OP posts:
melsy · 15/05/2004 10:19

aaww Froot really sorry, that sounds lovely. Will see what I come accross, have you done a google search ??

Glad you like the "life story " charm idea. Makes it all the more special doesnt it.

Poor wobbly youll have to get some little MN helpers soon.

wobblyknicks · 15/05/2004 15:08

Melsy - I'll have to start my own MN sweat shop!!! Actually, the making the bracelets doesn't bother me in the slightest - its sourcing all the different stuff that people want that might bring me out in a cold sweat!!! Lol. If it takes off, I'll be advertising on here for a purchasing manager!!!!

OP posts:
papillon · 16/05/2004 19:28

Hope you are not too drunk in the bar but thought I would distract you momentarily with bracelet talk

saw this bracelet.. but I only want one stone of each!!

wobblyknicks · 16/05/2004 19:56

paps - have take time out of my drinking schedule!!!

I see what you mean, so one stone of each, what else would you want on the bracelet?

OP posts:
papillon · 16/05/2004 20:28

maybe a chunk of some kind of metal between each stone... a stone that represent fluidity if there is such a thing!!
will investigate that more tomorrow as am off to schlafland
