A matter of energy

I thought it time to start a fresh and clear the space for some new energy to be formed. Another thread actually inspired me I will link what it was in the next post.

I felt that it was time to move onto the 3rd insight. Dont worry if you have not got that far yet , we will always discuss any part or thought that comes about. the 3rd is about finding new energy forms, which I feel we need right now.

papillon · 23/04/2004 13:17

oh thats okay fish goes with chips

I have never done that TM thing... is that where you are trying to achieve levitation while mediating?

juniper68 · 23/04/2004 13:18

so have I, managed to do dss lunch and tidy kitchen but that's it. My sister babysat last night and she's ultra tidy so did lots for me but still some to do.

What are you studying btw Gothicmama? Sorry if you already said, I have an awful memory. I really need to go back to college even if it's just to do a short course. I've done loads of them, just wish I could find the motivation to do some long term study.

I'm going to make a cuppa and read more celestine now whilst I have chance. take care xx

papillon · 23/04/2004 13:19

CD i think it is quite personal how it feels
can go out your feet, out your head (and no coddy not out your b.m )

papillon · 23/04/2004 13:20

juniper68 · 23/04/2004 13:20

gothicmama · 23/04/2004 13:22

juniper68 I am in last year of foundation degree in health and social care, glad i did it I did not want to go back to work and this gives me something to do and keep brain active whilst having time with dd

CountessDracula · 23/04/2004 13:29

NONO TM = Transcendental Meditation. Just normal med really with mantra but you have to go through some silly ceremony involving an orange and a hanky to learn it! Did a course with my dad when I was 15 or 16 and have always kept it up, use it like a power nap!

papillon · 23/04/2004 13:36

Power nap - that sounds good for sleep deprived mums (like me)
to continue with your question...
I think in my case - I don´t go around seeing spirits etc and I am pretty sceptical about many spiritual concepts - but I am also quite opened minded about it. Who really knows - and because it is all so mysterious I find it really interesting.
I think because I do look for connections to life and if something clicks for me I pursue it with the utmost respect.
That seems to have developed my spiritual prowess

does that make any sense CD?

CountessDracula · 23/04/2004 13:38

Hmmm, maybe. What do you mean by Connections to life? Connections between what and life I mean?

I'm not into anything to do with spirts (except a fine malt whisky and any old vodka!)

CountessDracula · 23/04/2004 13:38

spirits even!

LOL quite like the sound of a spirt

papillon · 23/04/2004 13:44

ummmm
that coincidence word I guess.
Examples work well so here is one...
Yesterday I went to see a new friend. She works in a health food shop. Asked her if she would like to go to park - but was busy.
Had visited her also on monday - while there a Yogi type chap came in. Yesterday she told me he has the same birth date as me.
In the afternoon I go to Library - she walks in seconds after me.
Asked her where she was going. She was going to a place that I had thought of that morning in connection with us both (potential business together - who knows)
we go there.
The shop is a stone/crystal shop.
Woman asks for my dd birth date. It is already written on a piece of paper in front of us.

I like that sort of thing happening and am excited when it happens.

Have u ever tried positive visualisation. It is just perspective and state of mind really - but I feel when you get more practised at it your energy can increase and more connections to life can happen (could also be could your life pathway I guess)

papillon · 23/04/2004 13:45

spirt sounds like a really little drink for squirts

CountessDracula · 23/04/2004 14:01

Right I get it now.

Well that sort of thing does happen to me a lot eg I will be reading a phrase or unusual word in a book and someone says it out loud at the same time, in fact I just had one, my sister called me yesterday and said that she had heard Tumeric was good for Crohn's disease (which I have)

Today my herbalist suggested I try it for something different (glandular fever!)

I just think that's coincidence though. What would you think the significance of this sort of event is?

Snugs · 23/04/2004 14:04

Juniper - just seen your description on other thread.

I am 37, currently SAHM, DS age 6 and DS age (nearly) 3, with DH 16 years, live in NE.

Pretty close .... the coincidences just keep on coming.

gothicmama · 23/04/2004 14:05

The significance could be taht youhave thought about it and somehow it is picked up by others. It depends on if you analyse coincidences or just accept without asking why. Like sometimes I can think about a person and they will then phone this is coincidence but it could also b ebecause of some other reason Ie picking up the thought vibes or something.

Snugs · 23/04/2004 14:08

I personally think that when you have one off events they are probably coincidence, but when things keep happening (like with papillon and her friend) there might be a deeper meaning to it.

Figuring out what the meaning might be is another question altogether

gothicmama · 23/04/2004 14:14

well explained snugs

papillon · 23/04/2004 14:19

Agree there Snugs and GM.
It depends on the situation CD - once off thing probably just coincidental. But often more comes of a situation if you probe abit deeper.

Alot of the time for me energy is about people being good to one another. Like the guy who lives above us ringing his mum in Germany cause she is a peditrician to ask her about our dd problem skin.

It is really an unexplored phenomena really because Science has traditionally steered clear of spiritual aspects of the mind.

Snugs · 23/04/2004 14:22

Changing the subject somewhat - any of you any good on dream interpretation?

papillon · 23/04/2004 14:36

No developed skills in that department... but in my previous post I was going to mention about a book I have just read. It was about some Lepane (Delaware) Indians. The three brothers would have similar dreams which would prompt them to act upon them - they saw their dreams as normal.

glitterfairy · 23/04/2004 14:45

HI have read some but not all of this my computer died this morning but hurrah there is life after death and it is being resurrected in the meantime have configured my laptop. Papillon that is so wierd as one of my friends has been telling me I should read that book for ages and really nagging me! I am happy to chat about anything in any way but didnt want to hijack anything which is why I suggested email. With reagrds to kubler ross as with everything I think it is the imterpretation which is often the problem rather than the author. Like Jesus who even if you dont believe in him seems a cool guy but the things which are done in his name are appallng. Sorry that may have annoyed some people! Anwyay will read rest of thread when I have time am currently getting into my inner goddess with beety by detoxing which she says will make me pure and temple like! I am looking at what is consiousness at the moment which is fascinating and how do we have memories. Someone mentioned dreams Jung is good to read for those.

gothicmama · 23/04/2004 14:59

I find dreams hard to interupt other than very general feelings
