Cosmic Ordering

My friend is really into it and says it works for her. I'm a bit skeptical.
So I'm asking the lovely vipers people of MN to help me with a completely unscientific experiment.
Place your cosmic order, think positive and we'll see who gets what they asked for.

Nice one, SirRaymond you've been an inspiration on this thread. Sent DD the link for her to read it and make her own mind up. Told her to read your posts in particular, (she's quite a cynical young fucker, no idea where she gets that from Hmm).

She read the full thread, decided to give it a go and, like I said previously, got an interview and is starting a lovely job next week.

But seriously, the other things last week - especially the penguin - I had shivers down my spine with the spookiness of how it happened!

And agree, no-one's getting hurt, why knock it?

Rules · 15/09/2013 00:53

Don't you think though that those that knock it will generally be the glass half empty types. Or the negative thinkers?

SirRaymondClench · 15/09/2013 00:56

Congratulations to your DD on her new job! Grin

The yellow balloon (just something I started doing with my DD) penguin etc is a good way of practicing and flexing your new muscles as it were. It also keeps life fun and also seems a nice way of keeping this thread going while people wait for the Universe to deliver the other things they'v asked for. I love hearing people's good news!

I think once people get the hang on LOA then it's a lovely way to live because you know you're in control of things. And that's empowering!

SirRaymondClench · 15/09/2013 00:58

Rules yes I do. I always wonder why people feel the need to tell people they are wrong for thinking like this. I mean what is their motivation? What do they care what we do or think?
Once things start happening with LOA then you know and that's the difference. Nobody will be changing my mind any time soon Grin And I couldn't give a monkeys what they think!

MagzFarqharson · 15/09/2013 01:08

yes Rules I think you're right. It's frustrating sometimes when you speak to those negative types. I always want to say 'Just stop it now and think positively', but we have to make our own decisions in life - I just wish someone had told me about this years ago!

Thanks SirRaymond I'll pass on your congrats. She's totally buzzing, I'm so happy for her, she left a horrible job 2 months ago, didn't have much hope in finding another job in this economic climate, was really low and self doubting, but then - out of the blue, after getting into this - gets a lovely job offer from a random source.

Sorry for going on about it, but I'm just convinced there's something in it!

Rules · 15/09/2013 02:02

I'm looking for a new job too. Have been offered two but there just not what I want. Think I need to change what I'm asking for.Grin

hazchem · 15/09/2013 03:56

Just saw a penguin (in a storybook)! chuffed.

squoosh · 15/09/2013 06:24

So..........on Friday I 'ordered' a financial windfall........

Tonight I won £93.00 on the Lottery! This may not seem like a lot but in all my years playing I have never won more than £5. Whoopee!

SoftKittyWarmKitty · 15/09/2013 08:48

Squoosh that's amazing! Nice chunk of money, too. Enjoy spending it Smile.

I'm also starting to look for a new job but as yet haven't ordered one. I think it's because I don't really know what job I want and whether I really want to go back ft. I currently work pt but to earn a decent amount I'd need to work ft but I'm a single parent and know I'd miss taking DS to school a few times a week (plus having time for housework, errands etc is really handy and I think I might struggle to fit everything in if I went ft). Want to ask the universe for a solution but no idea what to say. Any suggestions?

babyhammock · 15/09/2013 09:35

Kitty I'm so happy that my job means that I can earn more than enough money working part time. I love being able to spend lots of time with my gorgeous DS knowing I can easily buy us everything we need and want..

Perhaps? :) x

SirRaymondClench · 15/09/2013 10:23

Magz Don't apologise, this is the place to 'go on about it!' Grin

Rules make a list of what you want from your new job and go from there.

Haz Hooray!!

Squoosh that's fab! Make sure you buy yourself something lovely with it!

Soft why don't you ask for something like this:
I am so happy and grateful now that I have a job that makes me happy and brings me and abundance of money.

That ^^ kind of covers what you need and leaves the Universe to sort out the best job for you. I find the Universe works in surprising ways and you never know what it will bring so sometimes (and this works with men too, and I've used it for this) it's a good idea to leave the finer detail to the Universe, trust that you'll get what you want and fly by the seat of your pants Smile

Trust me - all will be groovy Grin

Baby has it spot on!

Hi all,

I like that job formulation SirRaymond and will be using that alongside posting my CV out on Monday.

I have really enjoyed this thread and it's made me feel positive and excited when normally I'd be down and fretting. I've been reading up and will start a vision board soon.

I went to a professional reunion thingy on Friday. I was so pleased to see the two people I really wanted to see (have been out of touch with these for 10 years) and to make friends with a third. Normally I'd be too much in my own world of worry to be as outgoing as I was and I think that rubbed off on them, we've all made plans to meet-up.They didn't have may decorations up, just a few balloons. Can anyone guess what colour they were? Grin.

SirRaymondClench · 15/09/2013 11:27

Cresent It's very important as part of this that you believe you deserve it. And you do. There is actually an abundance of everything in this world and there is no earthly reason why you shouldn't have your share so ask and feel confident that you deserve this.

I can recommend EFT (emotional freedom technique) to clear any blocks or feelings you have of guilt. Or anything (phobias are good with this) if you have a look here you can learn it for free and there are lots of 'how to's on Youtube.

Go for it!!

Toast Get that vision board done! Smile
Well done on going to your professional reunion. You never know why those people were brought back into your life. This might be the start of something big for you.
Balloons you say? Wink Looks like the Universe is reminding you to ask, ask, ask! I bet you smiled when you saw them! Grin

NoToast · 15/09/2013 11:32

I also meant to say a big thanks to everyone for posting Smile

aliasjoey · 15/09/2013 12:02

I think some people can be cynical because if they have had truly bad things happen to them beyond their control (e.g. serious illness) perhaps they feel that LOA implies they are responsible for their own 'bad luck'.

Which isn't true, I know some things are just beyond anybody's power to change - but I can understand why some people have posted negatively on here.

nicename · 15/09/2013 12:08

For they are chip-pissers.

CosmicG · 15/09/2013 13:00

I'm absolutely loving this thread and am thankful to the universe for having come across likeminded people.sirraymond, i find your posts very inspiring...thank you Smile .
I remember when i first started cosmic ordering and mentioned it to my husband back then, (ex husband now), and he thought i was completely bonkers. Grin I found it worked for me though.

I haven't ordered anything for a loooong time now. Last time i did, I wished for a specific type of partner but i kept going back and changing the description as i realised more and more what i really wanted. I have not met the person and i think its bcos of certain blockages.

crescent don't be afraid to wish for big things..as raymond pointed out, the universe is abundant. There is more than enough to go around!

squoosh · 15/09/2013 13:00

I'm still basking in the glow of my £93 win Grin

On Friday I told myself I was going to win some money this weekend, I imagined opening my email and seeing the 'News about your lottery ticket' email. I made myself really believe that I'd see it and I did!

I made a £5 donation to charity as my way of thanking the cosmos.

Just to update. ; I got loads of yellow balloons just after I posted saying I was still waiting :) thanks universe.

I'm now looking forward to a couple of great things when the universe helps me with my good health & a certain other matter. I look forward to updating the good news shortly. Thanks for this thread, it's inspiring me on. Thank you universe.

SoftKittyWarmKitty · 15/09/2013 13:35

Thanks for the job guidance Baby and SirRaymond, I'm going to ask in that way as it specifies what I want rather than what I don't want. But do I then actually go ahead and apply for ft roles that will give more money but less time with DS? That's my problem - I know I have to help the universe to help me because a well-paid, amazing job isn't just going to fall into my lap, but the only jobs I'm seeing advertised are ft ones. Hmm.

MagzFarqharson · 15/09/2013 13:36

squoosh congratulations on your win - it's a nice amount for a treat!

I run the lottery syndicate at work and you've inspired me to put some positive thought into it, rather than just sticking the money on every week.

Now I know you can't order lottery wins, but they're hardworking, caring women who all deserve a share of a few million quid windfall, I'll get right on it. We've all agreed 'no publicity' so you won't see us in the paper Grin

SirRaymondClench · 15/09/2013 13:58

Soft I would say to carry on as you were after asking but be alert for the signs. The Universe will give you the nudges, people, ideas, opportunities and you just have to grab them when you come across them. If it feels right to apply for a FT job you see then go for it.

Fuzzy well done on your balloons! Now get those orders in!

Magz when you get your win I hope you'll tell us about it!!

NoToast · 15/09/2013 21:20

Ooh, everyone. Not sure if this was mentioned upthread but you can make up to 3 secret boards on pinterest. Visionboards ahoy!
