My friend is really into it and says it works for her. I'm a bit skeptical.
So I'm asking the lovely vipers people of MN to help me with a completely unscientific experiment.
Place your cosmic order,think positive and we'll see who gets what they asked for.

But that is the point Cote. If you want something you have to be positive and look for the small changes.
SoftKitty....yes it has worked for me. I do positive affirmations every day and if I feel negative I change it to positive thoughts if possible.
I got the job I wanted because I belived I would, get parking spaces, bring people into my life that I want there. Its still a work in progress though but it is far better than having a negative attitude . What you put out there you get back. Anyone who is saying negative things with regard to this are just that, negative and therefor will attract negativity. Law of attraction. Grin

Aw Cote, you misery! Its all just a bit of fun.

God/the cosmos didn't stop both my parents dying, didn't stop the cancer, help me find a job or let me die when that was all I really wanted.

I do believe that if you think about what you really want in life then it gives you a bit of direction. Want a new house? Think carefully about what type/where etc and it will help you make decisions about the practicalities of actually getting one. It won't just fall out of the sky and land on your lap! If you really think hard beyond 'new house please' you will begin the think - I need to move closer to work/school/family...3 bedrooms and a garden aren't really a must, we can do with 2 and a balcony really...modern is more practical than a grade listed building...near shops...etc.

All the 'look out for a pink sheep' just makes you more observant of what's going on beyond your own nose. If you broaden your horizons, you will see more opportunities when they are there.

I'm so happy and grateful that OH is working in his field and that his work is providing the income that supports our wonderful, exciting, joyous family life.

I'm so happy and grateful for the week holiday that's giving us the chance to reconnect but also explore new parts of this country.

To be honest cosmic ordering, universal ordering, positive thinking etc is not just something you put on a thread and its done. I know its a bit of fun but just though it prudent to point this out. Its something that is done every day. If anyone is really interested then I suggest you read more about it. Smile

I have been cosmic ordering since I was a little girl (didn't have a name for it back then), What I have got in my life now is what I had ordered. I remember as a little girl thinking about the things I wanted and imagining them, and they would happen, all the boys that I wanted to date, I would imagine dating them and not long after they would ask me out.
Even now things that I think about and want to happen do.

pretty wish I had know about the power of positive thinking/cosmic ordering when I was little. I have always been interested in all that type of thing but I do keep a foot in both worlds so to speak. I have found it amazing since using it over the last 9 years, really amazing. Definitely makes life more interesting and exciting because you don't feel like a victim of circumstance anymore, you feel like you are part of making your life how you want it to be. Got to be good. Smile

I first became interested in cosmic ordering, after reading, "the secret" and it has truly changed my life. Cosmic ordering isn't easy in my experience...there's alot more to it then just simply placing an order or writing a wish list. you have to truly believe in it first....which means letting go of any doubts you have...also wishing for something from a place of fear doesn't work...wish from a place of peace in your heart...be grateful for what you already have. The more you feel you want something...it will always just be something you want and long for....the magic is in believing you already have it.

Today I asked the universe to help me find a tube of foundation that I lost 2 weeks ago. 30 seconds later I looked down and saw the end of the tube peeking out behind my bin, under the dressing table (I have looked there several times already and even emptied the bin yesterday)

Result! Thank you universe.

Ok then if you insist.. Being a cynical old fucker I'd love to come on here and take the piss. But, I've always believed that you make your own luck and I think this is kind of the same thing. Tell yourself you're lucky and you are.

Used a form of cosmic ordering a while ago and now have my lovely DP. Lots of things have happened for me which most people would find unbelievable, in fact I can't believe it sometimes.

Over the last week have tried asking for the things everyone's been talking about on this thread (yellow balloon, rainbow, penguin, turban wearing man) and each time - seriously - i've asked, forgotten about it for a while, randomly remembered about it and then seen said item within minutes. Weird and woo.

Nobody's gaining anything on here by bullshitting about their success stories, but when things happen like they do, you just want to tell people how good it is, and hope that they find the same success for themselves.

Also, DD is starting her new job next week.

I do like this thread, it's very positive and its lovely when people get the things they asked for. It's exciting.

I don't know why people feel the need to come onto this thread and tell us we are talking crap. Nobody here is hurting anyone. I have had things happen in my life that I know are down to LOA. Like you some amazing things. I'm not interested in defending what I think to anyone or being told I"m wrong. If someone doesn't get it or thinks it's a load of shit then that is their right I guess. But it's also irrelevant to me because it's a view I don't share and also didn't ask for.

Those of us that do believe in LOA are loving this thread.
