My friend is really into it and says it works for her. I'm a bit skeptical.
So I'm asking the lovely vipers people of MN to help me with a completely unscientific experiment.
Place your cosmic order,think positive and we'll see who gets what they asked for.

That's a good idea NoToast. If you want to look at it a lot you could always print it out and stick it up somewhere visible.

I am so glad I read this thread a few weeks ago....I have put the theory to the test and asked for a yellow balloon and got one within the hour. Asked again today and got two within 10 minutes Shock. Am waiting to see on my career ask and will update....going through a bit of hell at work but I am staying positive!!!

Just had to let you all know today I saw a penguin, a blue butterfly and a yellow balloon. The funny thing is I only asked for the yellow balloon but I wonder about the others sort manifesting because I've read about them.

Wondering about the wording to ask about work for my partner. He is working at the moment but it isn't in his field and he would be so much happier working in his profession.

One more thing. About 12 months ago I wrote on a thread in Living Overseas just this week the thread popped up to the top and I'd totally forgotten about it but apart from OH salary everything I had said I wanted had come true.

Can anyone recommend any good books on cosmic ordering or new age stuff like cosmic ordering and power of intention. My faves are

  1. Science off getting rich
  2. Think and grow rich
I don't know why I didn't enjoy The Secret.

Pretty have you read anything by Esther and Jerry Hicks? If you have a look on Amazon they have quite a few good books about Law of Attraction.
Steer clear of Cosmic Ordering by Barbel Mohr - it's poorly written and nonsense really. I mean the info is there but I didn't like it. The spelling is awful.
Obviously also The Secret
The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles (which is what the Secret is based on)
They ^^ would be a good place to start (not sure how much you have already read) Smile

Thanks sir yes I love the science off getting rich and Think and grow rich, have read them several times. I have read Esther and jerry's book Ask and it is given, it was ok, definitely agree with Barbel Mohr's book didn't think much of it.

Just wanted to say that the Kindle versions of The Science of Getting Rich and Think and Grow Rich are both 38p on Amazon at the moment. Just downloaded them to the Kindle app an my iPad (don't have an actual Kindle) so will have a read later on.

I've got a Barbel Mohr book from the library and I'm finding it long-winded and heavy going.

Just looked up the Read Me: I'm Magic book, SirRaymond, and it looks interesting. Love the idea of subliminal messages. I want to know what the subliminal message within the book is! It's a bit too expensive for me to buy right now though Sad. Maybe when I get paid.

I've got a question for Cote... explain this...
If an atom was the size of a football pitch the nucleus would be the size of a pin head... that's a scientific fact. The rest is empty space with the odd electron buzzing about which is just energy... the nucleus is now thought to also be just energy...

So from where we are simply balls of energy with ALL this empty space .... how do we appear whole and solid?

Why if cells are taken from a person and transported hundreds of miles away do they respond in the same way to stimulus as the original host?

When you start looking at things like that then collective consciousness and the power of energy of thought doesn't seem like such 'woo' after all..

Its not about 'god' either or treating the cosmos as god at all...
