Cosmic Ordering

My friend is really into it and says it works for her. I'm a bit skeptical.
So I'm asking the lovely vipers people of MN to help me with a completely unscientific experiment.
Place your cosmic order, think positive and we'll see who gets what they asked for.

I am waiting for this PM Soft! Grin

I will tell you if they have the same initials (but I won't tell you who mine was - I'm embarrassed!)

SirRaymondClench · 12/09/2013 22:52

Friggin I wondered where you'd got to!! You started this thread! Well done! That's fantastic news! Grin

SoftKittyWarmKitty · 12/09/2013 22:57

I've pm'd you. Don't be embarrassed about yours unless YOURS was Harry Styles? Grin.

aliasjoey · 12/09/2013 22:58

Hmm, still haven't found my Premium Bond or had FIL cough up the money for the new (strong, dry) roof.

Not had a harmonious family evening - maybe because I am the only one who requested it - DD and DH appear to have requested the opposite Hmm

Got a stinking cold, and worried about work tomorrow.

I did get a parking space though, and have ordered a productive day tomorrow.

SirRaymondClench · 12/09/2013 23:33

Soft Grin If it was Harry Styles I wouldn't even admit it to myself!

Alias give it time and be positive it will happen!

If it helps its been WW3 in our house this evening

Get some dispersible vit C for that cold and rest up! Flowers

A few people have said that they saw something but they didn't think it was their yellow balloon/rainbow etc.

I did the opposite I think with the man wearing a turban. I saw a man in fancy dress (don't ask!) who was in full Indian dress including a fake turban. Is it ok to think this was my 'man in the turban' because when I saw him I really felt it was? Confused

SirRaymondClench · 13/09/2013 08:10

High how many times a day do you normally see a man in a turban (especially a man who doesn't normally wear a turban)?

You still saw him but if you didn't think that was your turban-wearing man then ask again Smile

HighJinx · 13/09/2013 08:14

Friggin That's great news about the house. Grin

Bunny What a brilliant update. So happy to hear that you are getting your house sorted so easily. Grin

thesaurusgirl · 13/09/2013 09:45

Clench I hear you and of course I'll update on those things. They are very personal so I'm keeping them under my hat for now.

But something extraordinary happened yesterday. A client owes me money and there's been some "confusion" (her words) over my invoice. When I saw the BACS payment it was for the reduced amount and my heart sank as I imagined another difficult phone call.

So I put in an order for the client to realise her mistake.

At 8pm last night she phoned me and said, "I've just realised the BACS payment didn't include the extra work so I'm paying that as a separate amount right now."

nicename · 13/09/2013 09:48

I just passed a man with 9 helium balloons! 2 of them yellow! Ok so I'm near the party shop, but still...

SirRaymondClench · 13/09/2013 09:49

Thesaurus You don't ever have to say what they are it's totally personal to you. I look forward to hearing that whatever it was happened though Smile Hoorah for you getting that phone call at 8pm! I bet it was a relief! Now ask for her to put loads more work your way Wink

Mantella · 13/09/2013 10:44

What great updates. How exciting!

typhoontanya · 13/09/2013 11:00

I am so happy and grateful that I now have my new fridge.

My current fridge is about 15 years old and has to be defrosted at least once a month, I have put in a cosmic order for a new fridge (as shown above Grin), so have decided to clear the area that I want the new fridge in and scrub the old fridge to within an inch of it's life so that it doesn't look too tacky when the people delivering the new fridge take the old one away.

Is that ok that I do that?

Mantella · 13/09/2013 11:12

Sounds ok to me. Be sure to wear your sunglasses when your blindingly bright shiny new fridge is delivered. Smile

thehorsedentist · 13/09/2013 11:40

Yellow balloons, penguins and men with turbans all seem a bit obvious to me and I'm a massive sceptic.

Could I ask for something a little more obscure for the first try, just to really prove that it works or will it not work (therefore proving that its all just a load if woo)?

LadyKatherine · 13/09/2013 11:43

Do you have to say your order out loud or is thinking it enough? I have made a start on a vision board and have 'written it down' on my computer. I feel a bit silly saying it out loud but will get over it if it will help the universe. Grin

SirRaymondClench · 13/09/2013 13:04

Typhoon* that's absolutely what you should do.

You need to make space in your life for the things you've ordered. If you've asked for a bloke clear some space for his stuff etc.

Horse you have to have belief for it to happen. If you're sceptical you'll just get more of that. Nobody is here trying to convince anyone else so if you think it's a load of woo then that's your prerogative.

Lady you don't have to write it down etc it just helps me stay focussed and then I can see what I have achieved.

SuperiorCat · 13/09/2013 13:06

Just marking my place to re-read the thread

squoosh · 13/09/2013 13:07

The other day I asked for a zebra as I thought they are generally a lesser spotted animal, have seen three already.

Have now asked the cosmos for a whack of cash. Seems fair.

aliasjoey · 13/09/2013 14:01

Okay, so I asked for my boss to appreciate my work today; turns out she won't be in all day - but I bet she is thinking about how much she appreciates me Grin

I also ordered a very productive day, and because of that made myself work harder than usual. I'm exhausted, but pleased.

HighJinx · 13/09/2013 14:34

Grin that seems very fair squoosh - here's hoping you get three whacks of cash.

nicename · 13/09/2013 15:13

Real zebras? Do zebra crossings count?

cosysocks · 13/09/2013 16:31

I saw yellow balloon, thought I would test things so ordered an old fashioned knights helmet. Logged onto Pintrest that night and lo and behold! Next day walking down the high st I saw a full knights armour in a shop window!!

nicename · 13/09/2013 17:07

Ooo. Just saw a man with a turban. Gave him a cheezy grin. He probably thought I was mad.
