Cosmic Ordering

My friend is really into it and says it works for her. I'm a bit skeptical.
So I'm asking the lovely vipers people of MN to help me with a completely unscientific experiment.
Place your cosmic order, think positive and we'll see who gets what they asked for.

Do we have to write our wishes down? I haven't been doing that. Also do we have to be specific or vague about our wishes?

Wahla · 11/09/2013 13:40

That's right EeTraceyluv (your name made me snort), but you need to visualise and feel the feeling of having an abundance of money, how happy and relaxed you feel, how unstressful life is without that worry.

Brilliant stories NoToast.

Wahla · 11/09/2013 13:47

The more specific the better MrsWickens. If you simply ask for 'some more money' then you may just find £2 down the back of the sofa but if you need £300 to get the car fixed (or whatever) then ask specifically for that.

Apparently the cosmos is very literal so God is a man afterall, who knew! and you have to be very clear, plus it operates in the NOW so everything you need to imagine that whatever it is you need is materializing as you 'ask' for it.

MrsWickens · 11/09/2013 14:11

Thank you Wahla

nicename · 11/09/2013 14:51

Exactly. If you ask for a large home, you will end up living in a huge canv with bears. Mark my words. The cosmos has a wharped sense of humour.

LadyKatherine · 11/09/2013 16:07

Regarding the yellow balloon, I don't suppose it counts if DD chooses UP as a film to watch does it? Grin

I have been asking for money (mainly in the expectation of a large cheque coming through the post) and have done a couple of scratchcards while I was feeling so positive about winning. The first ones (£2 each), me and my husband won a combined £6 on. So cashed them in and bought two more of the same but wasn't feeling so confidant this time. I didn't win anything but my husbands card won £4. I'm still expecting that cheque though.

GeekInThePink · 11/09/2013 16:26

I really need a new job please. Yes I'm lucky where I am but there is
And a magi-mix? Please :)
And maybe a mustard Cardie

GeekInThePink · 11/09/2013 16:27

But there is nothing we can offer each other. It's a relationship of convenience. That should say!

aliasjoey · 11/09/2013 16:59

okay this is a bit weird. Maybe I'm nearly convinced....

I didn't believe in all the woo, but read the whole thread out of curiousity, and mainly was impressed by SirRaymond who does appear to be sensible and nice (not all money-grabbing-the-world-owes-me-for-doing-F-All)

Actually we had a library user recommend the book at work last year, and I told my boss NOT to buy it because it was a load of woo...

SirRaymondClench · 11/09/2013 17:03

Alias thank you x Flowers

aliasjoey · 11/09/2013 17:05

So, thought no harm in giving it a go.

I've written down:

***
I am happy and peaceful that we have enough money to live peacefully (am going to change that to "have enough money to repair the leaking roof")

My boss and colleagues respect me and enjoy working with me. They listen to my opinions.

I feel strong and powerful. I work hard and achieve my goals.

We have a great family relationship, listen to each other and try to understand each other.

***

Believing that these things may need a helping hand Grin I have tidied my DDs school work space (we'll all get along better if things are organised!) and made some effort to track down my Premium Bonds which have been lost for 2 years.

Interesting, I found it hard to stay positive when writing the list; kept wanting to write "my colleague won't be sarcastic, my DD won't be naughty" I guess that's the key, to keep working on the positive?

aliasjoey · 11/09/2013 17:09

So anyway (sorry this is long!) I think I've skipped the practice tasks and gone straight to car parking! Grin

On the way to Sainsburys I ordered a yellow balloon, but like others because convinced it wouldn't work - or if it did, it would just be co-incidence.

However I also ordered a space on the carpark. And laughed out loud when it was there. It's at the far end of the car park (which is probably why it's often empty) but easy for me to reverse into and more importantly right next to the trolley bays.

But as SirRaymond says, Be Careful What You Wish For. Because it turned out I didn't need a trolley, and as it was pouring with rain I'd have been better of finding a space closer to the door!!!

SirRaymondClench · 11/09/2013 17:15

User I just read your post! That's fantastic you got your £5000! Make sure you treat yourself to something really nice! Grin

EeTracey could I help you rephrase your order? It's very important that you don't think about the things you don't want so when it comes to money stuff never mention debt or lack of because you will bring more of that (trust me I know when you get started its hard if you have this going on) You have to focus on what you do want which is abundance.
So:

I am so happy and grateful now that we have an abundance of wealth in our lives. We are like money magnets and money flows to us easily.
I am so happy now that we are enjoying our family holiday etc

Visualise it, really feel like you're abundant (and keep doing that) and get excited about it. Never ever feel desperate because that brings more of that and you have to start feeling good about this. It helps to make a list of all the things you already have in life and feel grateful for them (central heating, food in the cupboard, employment) Then you have to 'let go' and trust this is all coming. Also believe that you deserve it (you absolutely do)

SirRaymondClench · 11/09/2013 17:24

Alias get the space near the door next time Grin
Glad you have started using LOA for your parking spaces, I have done this for years and always get the space I want!

Re your orders, don't mention the leaking roof!
I am so happy and grateful now that we have a strong dry roof (let the Universe worry about how it gets fixed, not your problem)

Don't forget to visualise etc and also don't worry about the hows and whys etc this just attaches worry and doubt and blocks things coming to you, and very important you don't have to necessarily go looking for the things you want but sometimes you have to take positive action and be alert for things.

aliasjoey · 11/09/2013 19:19

My FIL has found a reliable builder to give us the strong, dry roof. I'm so glad FIL stuck to his promise to pay for the strong, dry roof.

(Is it ok to keep asking DH to remind FIL about this, or should I just leave well alone? I'm unsure how much 'help' the cosmos needs...)

NoToast · 11/09/2013 19:36

I'm starting small, I'm just asking for a new house, new job and job for DP and a holiday! And seeing myself as a 'money magnet'.

Now this next bit is going to sound very 'Woo', sorry. I spent the morning thinking about how I wanted to phrase my work request and kept seeing a picture of a building in my mind. After a while I thought, that looks a bit like an XX, and isn't so and so company based at 'something, something xx'. So I googled and found they're in a building that looks very much like the one I've been 'seeing'. They're getting my CV in the next few days. I'll let you know how it works out. Grin

A great read btw is Robert Graves' autobiography, 'Goodbye to All That'. Lots of times he survived or was helped out by very random coincidences.

SirRaymondClench · 11/09/2013 19:56

Alias just ask the above and leave well alone. You don't need to remind him because it might not end up being fixed that way. Don't worry about the hows, whos and whys. Smile

Toast visualise yourself working there and feeling good about it.
I'm loving your list!

Floppityflop · 11/09/2013 19:58

I am ordering many things as we speak but if I order a baby now will I find a baby mouse or something on my doorstep?

LadyKatherine · 11/09/2013 20:03

Well my DD wanted the UP book tonight for her bedtime story so a picture of a yellow balloon on the cover. Eventually chose two other books (why I love my mummy and why I love my daddy), both of which had penguins in. Smile.

loveroflife · 11/09/2013 20:16

cosmic ordering was just on channel 4's thought tv. here's the film - www.4thought.tv/themes/new-beliefs-for-a-new-generation/megan-mcgrory?autoplay=true

I ordered my dh! I found the list the other day of 'the perfect man I wanted' when I was single and depressed and it's him word for word.

I order parking spaces every day, I've ordered so much stuff, job opps, I'm ALWAYS ordering lost stuff to be found - car keys, paperwork etc and it always turns up! I also thank the universe when my order gets delivered - very important to do that!

I love reading this thread x

EeTraceyluv · 11/09/2013 20:19

Thank you SirR - I'm off to get pen and paper and rephrase Grin I am ridiculously exicted now!

nicename · 11/09/2013 20:25

But how long does it take? I'm ordering new neighbours right now...

NoToast · 11/09/2013 20:28

Thanks SirR, I'm writing down all my wants in a lovely notebook. Will visualise working at the building and being happy.

MrsWickens · 11/09/2013 20:29

I am so happy and grateful that my OH has got a promotion at work
I am so happy and grateful that lots of children are enjoying the dance classes I teach.
I am so happy that my children are happy.

I am so happy and grateful that this thread has given me a positive focus.

UserError · 11/09/2013 20:30

Thank you SirR, I'm still in a bit of shock over it myself. Grin I knew I was getting a small amount, but I was expecting £500 from my job. I've had '£5000’ in my head for a few weeks now and I wrote down a statement being grateful for having enough money to buy what I needed for my family and enough money to spend on what I wanted, when I wanted it. I've also been visualising my online banking screen and changing the numbers in my head to '£5000' every time I log on.

I'm a massive sceptic and not very 'woo' at all, but I'll give anything a go.
