Cosmic Ordering

My friend is really into it and says it works for her. I'm a bit skeptical.
So I'm asking the lovely vipers people of MN to help me with a completely unscientific experiment.
Place your cosmic order, think positive and we'll see who gets what they asked for.

Bunny that's fantastic news! Grin I hope you will be very happy in your new home!

nicename · 09/09/2013 15:46

Is there a catch though? I was brought up on Tales of the Unexpected! Knowing my luck I'd ask for a bigger house and it would work out as DH ditching me for another woman, me being flung out of out home and ending up in great aunt Aggies delapidated old haunted mansion on the Faroe Islands. I'm lucky like that Grin!

SirRaymondClench · 09/09/2013 15:48

No catch at all Nice Grin

squoosh · 09/09/2013 15:49

nicename Grin

SoleSource · 09/09/2013 15:58

I am happy and grateful my periods are now normal and regulated, thank you Universe.

I am happy and grateful for my kind, genuine, online friends on Mumsnet, thank you Universe.

I am happy and grateful for the abundance of money I have, thank you Universe.

I am happy and grateful that I have a loving, kind, funny, happy Husband, abundance of money and a nice house, thank you Universe.

nicename · 09/09/2013 16:02

So why is the Universe constantly kicking my arse?

I would like, pretty please, DH to find a job, the bleeding to stop, and a bit more room please. Can it ressurect my parents too?

SoleSource · 09/09/2013 16:05

A man in a turban...

TotemPole · 09/09/2013 16:05

Ok, if it gets big things like a new house, I'm going to give it a go. We want to move.

I'll also try it for getting a job.

Is that too much to ask for in one go?

SoleSource · 09/09/2013 16:09

Work through the steps Totem, get believing first..

For me it is positive thinking, gets me motivated.

SoleSource · 09/09/2013 16:11

in a life with a lot of limits on me wrt to SN child I kind of let things slip, this helps me focus on what I need to do that is important.

Wahla · 09/09/2013 16:43

Well to all you chip pisser oner's - a true miracle happened in our house at the weekend. Listen and believe Grin.

Up thread I asked and thanked the cosmos for a beautifully decorated livingroom which was a much more unlikely request to materialize than it seems. DH is a horrific hoarder. The backroom, which is the nicest room downstairs had inadvertently become DH's office and playroom except that it isn't, it's a dumping ground for the piles 'o' shite that DH accumulates; papers, wires (oh the bloody wires), the corpses of long defunct computers and random detritus. It also houses the kids toys but nobody ever uses it because it's awful.

A couple of years ago I had a big clear out in there but was thwarted by DH who emptied all my sorted boxes so he could use them (which he never did) and piling in a load of boxes of 'stuff' that he was going to sell (which he never did). He hates me touching his most treasured possessions junk but wouldn't sort it himself. I lost all motivation and although I have periodically brought it up with DH and tried to convince him how lovely that room could be, he has been reluctant (to say the least) to tackle the mess. I've halfheartedly had a stab at it now and again but have always approached it with an attitude of futility so have never really made any progress.

So, on Saturday DH, totally unprompted says "I'm going up for a bit of a nap, when I come down I'm going to make a start on sorting the back room if you fancy giving me a hand?" Shock. And he did! Eight black bin bags to go to the tip tomorrow, boxes sorted and in the loft. There's still loads to do but he has promised to carry on next weekend, whilst I chip away during the week - success! Thank you cosmos.

squoosh · 09/09/2013 16:46

HUZZAH Wahla! Good news whether it was the cosmos or your DP all by himself. That sounds like a heck of a lot of useless crap that you got rid of.

SoleSource · 09/09/2013 16:50

A huge HUZZAH here too Wahla positive thinking zaps those negative can't do's in all of us, even stubborn Husband's

HOORAY

SirRaymondClench · 09/09/2013 16:54

Wahlia that's fantastic!! Grin

You'll have that living room sorted in no time!

Bunnygotwhacked · 09/09/2013 17:16

Wahlia so pleased for you

underthemountain · 09/09/2013 17:46

I was just about to post a wish for my house to sell when I checked my email and we have someone interested! Cross fingers and wish to universe that the interest turns to a sale.....

RealAleandOpenFires · 09/09/2013 17:57

Just seen rainbows on TV (we already have enough Penguins in the house already thanksGrin ). No yellow balloons as of yet, nor men wearing turbans.

babyhammock · 09/09/2013 18:22

oh Wahlia that's fantastic...keep 'feeling' that gorgeous new living space...so much that you can almost taste it Grin... it will happen :)

SoftKittyWarmKitty · 09/09/2013 18:42

Oh good lord, it's getting daft now. After school it was raining and sunny at the same time, so there was a rainbow. The first one I saw yesterday was a photo of one, now I've seen a real one. Then we got home and DS drew some pictures, including one of a penguin, actually labelled 'penguin' too.

Next will be that man in a turban!

Happydays12345 · 09/09/2013 19:04

I've been doing this for a while. I ordered my Dp. I asked for a nice man who treats me good and for the first time ever I've got one. He even does cleaning.

After reading this thread it reminded me so I watched the programme on net flicks and have written my wishes in a book.

One was money flowing to me easily and in the last few days I've had a letter regarding a possible ppi claim, a tax credits extra payment because they'd underpaid me, and Ds's Dad gave me maintenance without any nagging.

I've also asked for more sales in my business and they've been flowing in nicely too.

Just the size 10 body to go now.

Also regarding the parking thing. For some reason I can't remember now I've prayed to the parking fairy every time I need a space. If I forget I don't get a space and when Ds said there was no such thing I had to find a different car park.

SirRaymondClench · 09/09/2013 20:40

I am so pleased that so many of you are having wonderful experiences with this. This is what life should be about! :)

So everyone keep feeling abundant and being grateful for everything you already have because that makes things flow quicker Grin

teamboleyn · 09/09/2013 21:17

I've been lurking away since the start of this thread. My DP and I were invited to a wedding of our close friends, it looked unlikely we would both be able to go as we're skint. I wrote in my wee book how grateful and happy we were that we could both go etc. On Saturday morning, the day of the wedding, I was getting ready, he was watching tv and he got a phone call to go and see his friend. Turns out DP had recommended several teams/dogs/ horses to bet on, friend won a fair bit and gave him £200 as a thanks!!!!!!!!! PLUS at an auction I was at today on a job lot on a tray was a random penguin amongst some china.

SirRaymondClench · 09/09/2013 22:01

Team that's ace! The Universe always finds a way! Grin I bet you had a fab time at the wedding!

teamboleyn · 09/09/2013 22:09

According to the pictures I had a great time!!

nicename · 09/09/2013 22:17

Sorry - I missed something. What's with the penguins, rainbows, balloons and turbans (and do the spice boys count?)
