My friend is really into it and says it works for her. I'm a bit skeptical.
So I'm asking the lovely vipers people of MN to help me with a completely unscientific experiment.
Place your cosmic order,think positive and we'll see who gets what they asked for.

it works for business as well, I just mention the clients I would like, talk about what would be nice and focus and always a few days later a lead comes in and I get a new contract..

it works every time for me, so much so I have to watch what I wish for when i have PMT else that divorce may well happen...

Also had a quick cosmic order today...running out of diesel so started saying "I am so happy and grateful that I made it to the petrol station before I ran out of fuel" and even though the needle was well below the zero on my fuel gauge I got there! Phew...thanked the cosmos for that!!!!!

Please may I join? Have just told DH and we have have asked the universe for our yellow balloon.

I think DM does this unintentionally. She asked for money for the family once when we were sitting in the garden and a couple of months later she and DF received a surprise inheritance. Weirdly it was exactly the amount she needed. (Relative had passed away before she wished for the money but estate hadn't been dealt with.)

DM also really, really wanted a new kitchen and she talked about it all the time and had plans drawn even though she couldn't afford it. There was a house fire (faulty appliance) and so she got a new kitchen after all through insurance. So be careful what you wish for!

I am thrilled to have written and published a successful book and to be able to contribute to the household finances. I'm enjoying spending more quality time with my friends old and new. I am happy that my boys are so happy and settled and popular at their new school and have made lots of good friends. I'm happy to know that our new kitten will be a much loved and long lived family pet. Thanks universe!

I think the yellow balloon thing is a con.

You think about a yellow balloon, so you notice yellow balloons. You would have seen them if you hadn't ordered them. It's just you're focusing on something you wouldn't otherwise be focusing on.

Why do people keep coming onto this thread to say they don't agree with LOA and it's all coincidence etc.
If you don't agree then that is fine but nobody is doing any harm here and it is a very positive thread. We aren't asking for anyone to debate it, if you don't believe it then that's your prerogative but don't bother reading the thread then

I haven't read the updates. I did a prayer/cosmic ordering a few weeks ago and on Friday something amazing happened. I had to put in a lot of work to get it mind you.

Revolted I'm glad you got the thing you asked for. Positive action is part of the process but some incredible things can happen (and have done to me)

Someone said to try visualising a yellow balloon and you'd see one and implied that was proof that it works. I just don't think it is proof at all.

It's a lot different to positive thinking about a goal in your life and it happening.

I thought i would do a quick update. I asked for a house a week or so ago now and after months of getting nowhere seriously we have been looking since April we are moving in two to three weeks.
So very very happy I found this thread I am very grateful for the health and family we have and i am very grateful for the house we are about to receive. I can just see us having Christmas there and having my very own sewing room plus the bath is wonderful.

So - is this God or just 'the cosmos'? I have a little internal dialogue going with God quite a bit, but s/he tends to ignore me. And I work for God too (well the church anyway).M Maybe s/he isn't happy with my work...
