Amberlight- prayer that the heart problems she has are temporary and that the beast cancer will not return. Pray for dh after his op.

Beatrice Primrose and cupoftea poorly baby and support for the family
Bluetinkerbell- lost her beloved Sterre during her second trimester. Now pregnant again!
Caz and her baby Xander. Also for dh who does not share her faith.

Creatovator ds ?asd and dd?s eczema
Dutch Oma- dh has a lung disease requiring regular trips to hospital/drs and lots of rest. Church services are not always easy due to excessive noise causing problems for Bob.
Expat's dd suffering from leukaemia. Give thanks that she has a donor for transplant and pay for a good outcome!
FriendofDorothy- for a calm, successful pregnancy
Gingercurl- things are stressful at home, studying for PhD, high blood pressure
Issypeach- work situation insecure for h and Issy. Prayer requested for the dcs one of whom has gone awol and the other at uni
Jaffacakes... new baby
Jan marriage, new baby and ongoing health problems
Jugglingwith?-job applications to work 1 to 1 with children and a husband who needs to appreciate all she does!
Lostmywellies- recently returned to the uk, friendships for dd and ds to settle into nursery. Possible knee op?
LoveAndPrayers. Marriage and h?s debts
Madhairday- reoccuring lung infections, dd with psoriasis/partial hearing and unhelpful school and getting bullied. Madhair is writing a book! ?or at least she should be if she weren?t on mn?
MaryB- work and relationships at church. difficult situations socially for dc's. dd getting bullied.
Notevenamousie- curently undergoing treatment as an inpatient. recently lost her mum.

PositiveAttitude- soon to be working abroad for 2 years from 17th July!. Pray for dds1,2 and 3 staying behind. prayer also for current work situation and 3 jobs! (eek). Prayers for DB and PA?s family?s relationship with sil.
SESthebrave-prayer for husbands stressful job situation, which may involve going to Dubai (not what ses wants). The last few weeks of pregnancy and work. Pray for the baby to turn the right way round.

SweetestThing- just got the all clear from cancer and officially in remission. however, still has to deal with the after effects of surgery.
Teaandcakesplease- single parent to 2 young children. unsupportive parents re ds "being a toddler." prayer for new reliable friends, and one friend in particular!
Tuo-dd1 and dh to be more positive about her faith
Weegie Thank God that treatment is bring some relief to her condition, chronic inflammatory.Demyelinating polyneuropathy. Ongoing prayers for more improvement and adjusting to a new way of life for both weegie and he dh dd has Perthe's syndrome , where the hip joint dies then regrows. Thank God for an improvement in her condition and further improvements so no op is needed.

Blackeyedsusan- mad as a hatter! single parent to 2 youngish children, separated after dv. pray for friends and a new church. ds's behaviour and toddler diarrhoea. dd, niggling health problems.

We had an ambulance out for Bob late last night as he just got into a panic about not being able to breathe. The managed to settle him and between us decided that he was better off in his own bed than in hospital.
He feels a bit better this morning but not realy well.

oh DO that must have been terrifying! hope he feels better soon! Praying!

Oh DO, many prayers for Bob, and for you too. That must have been pretty scary. Hope you can both have a restful time today.

DO, hecky heck - much prayer for you both...I think the GP is going to have to do something more than say 'oh well'.

Sorry on phone and all a bit hectic but think of you all frequently. Will post properly when things have calmed down! All ok here but ploughing through last few days of work before ML starts from 30th April!

Can you send up a quick prayer about my car? It's in having it's MOT today, right now in fact. It's 9 years old now, but my bank account is not terribly healthy at the best of times, so I really won't be able to pay if it is costly. Being divorced and my ExH not being able to give me much money, as his 4 month contract has ended and he's busy trying to get another job. I may need to find a money tree

I am up...and just about awake, slightly soggy at both ends as cleaning up a "flood"

small boy had the terrors last night and was tucked up on the sofa 'til he calmed down. consequently, late for bed. (not quite as bad as tuo) oh and it had nothing to do with finding writing assessessment standards files in the dfe archives and getting distracted, oh no [needs to get a life emotion]

have been reading thrrough and praying. hope your mot went ok.

Hopeful signs here regarding a possible job opportunity.

BES hope your day is better than your night.

It made me smile when it mentioned "1 to 1 work" in their email as that's particularly what bes put next to my name for people to pray for - even though I'm happy to do other work with children too.

DO im very sorry to hear about Bob, how are things now? its so frustrating when the doctors it seems cannot be bothered to put the effort in to finding the best treatment which can take time, patience and commitment - been in similar situations with healthcare providers!

teaandcake trust that your car went through the MOT. in a similar situation myself- if something happens with the car i won't be able to afford it.

And the rest of you - So many of us with different needs, may God meet all our needs out of his riches in glory, a nice thought that He is looking upon each of us and nothing is too difficult for him or beyond his reach.

thanks for those thinking of me and praying...im just exhausted at the minute with it all and trying to keep on top of everything. God is helping me. yesterday didn't go well. i am praying for the courage for me to be able to get in touch with my pastor again, if thats the right thing to do.

in the meantime, i have an interview on Monday -its to volunteer in a charity helpline one day a week. i have a lot of form filling to prepare for it, and its an hour and a half long interview. i am worried as to how i would cope with this if i got it given the way things are - but i really want to do something. please pray for this interview.

DO Oh, I am so sorry to hear of yours dh's ill health...night time is awful when you feel vulnerable/unwell isnt it? I will be thinking and praying for you both. I am sure he was better in his own bed.

juggling Praying for strength for you....I hate it when dh is away too.

Well, ds2 was ok at pre school after being upset at first (cue me with stomach in knots all morning!)

GP appt went ok too in that she has referred me to the gynae (long standing issues) and a spinal/osteo consultant for my back. Turns out I am severely anaemic (so that why I am so tired!!!) and basically if my iron level goes down much more I will need a tranfusion In fact my iron level is lower now than it was after I collapsed after having ds2!!!! Oh dear. At least I know why I am in bed at 8pm every night now though!!!

Thank you for all your prayers. My cousins funeral is weds next week and - as I knew really - I cant go

Welcome Starwisher, have seen you around a few threads and it's great to see you here. Basically we share prayer requests and answers, but generally mull on life too, there's no formula involved. Some of us pray as we read, some of us make a list to pray for in a prayer time, just whatever people feel comfortable with. Feel free to jump in and ask for any prayer or share any difficulties. :)
