MN Christian Prayer Request Thread: February already!!!?

Well, here's the round-up:

MadHairDay - Prayers needed for friend's DD who is anorexic and is still not eating. She is being tube fed, but she keeps pulling the tube out. Prayers for the girl from MHD's children's school who was recently run over outside the school. She is through the worst, but has broken legs and pelvis - a swift healing process please, Lord. Prayers for a friend of MHD's whose DH has recently left her and for her DH Gran who recently had a Stroke. Lots of prayers for MHD's lovely DD who is suffering horribly from Psoriasis and has Dyspraxia and is experiencing bullying at school Prayers for MHD struggles health-wise too!!

MrsC - Prayers for her sis who has just started a new job after being a SAHM for 5 yrs - how is she settling in, MrsC? Prayers also for a friend's mum who had a cancer DX, but died very suddenly and unexpectedly recently; and for the little family from MrsC's Toddler Group who recently lost their DH / daddy.

Caz - Finding the New Year so hard. DH should get some test results back soon - has he had them Caz? Caz's health has not been the best recently either and she has had a DX of Tonsillitis again. Boost her up, Lord. Prayers also for the family and friends of the 8 year old from Caz' class that died recently.

Amber- Prayers for the friends and family of E who died recently. Amber very bravely got through her recent op; but is now facing 6 months of Chemo followed by an Op for a DX of breast cancer. The cancer has been caught quite early and is treatable, but it is a fast-moving sort of Cancer and Amber is awaiting further tests to make sure the cancer hasn't spread. Hold Amber so so close at this time, Lord - and her family too as they come to terms with having to support their "rock". xx

CaptainCaveman - Prayers required for her DH in his hunt for a new job .....

JentlyDoesIt - Is coping with DP in prison, but struggling too - needing lots of prayers for resilience and strength, especially for her two little ones. Place lots of amazing, supportive people around her, Lord. xx

barleywood - Needs prayers in her hunt for a new church to go to; and to contribute to as well ....

TeaandCakePlease - Is struggling with juggling ..... she feels in despair with her OU degree and with the task of life in general. xx

NotQuiteGrownUp - Popped by to ask for prayers as she is struggling with juggling too!! xx

Mary - Has been quite down of late and needs lots of encouragement and prayer Please pray for Mary's DD's friend who is currently not eating and being tube fed; for S who trained with Mary who is having tests following the discovery of a lump on her spine; and for Mary's DF who is facing brain surgery after a DX of Chiari Malformation - she has a DH and a young DS.

livvylouis - Popped by to ask for prayers for her FIL who had been admitted to hospital with a racing heart.

NotSoFarNow - Needs lots of prayers for relationships - particularly with one of her DDs. Two of her DDs have recently dropped out of college and NSFN is struggling to know how best to support them and get alongside them.

Hermya - Has been having problems with anxiety of late. Is fretful and worried.

BoxofDelights - Has been spending a lot of time recently sorting out her financial position. Her anxiety is still bad and life is still tough.

blackeyedsusan - Is in the process of a possible separation from her violent husband. She has 2 children of 2 and 4 yrs; and is struggling.

practicallyimperfect - Prayers for the family and friends of Ben, a 17 yr old from the school she works at who was found dead in a river a few days ago. It was an accidental death and he looks to have slipped and fallen in on his way home from a gig late at night.

shineoncrazydiamond - Asked for prayers for a DF's DS, little Archie who sadly died after complications surrounding a traumatic delivery. Archie was a much wanted baby and it is a terrible, tragic loss for the couple

gingercurl - Asked for prayers for her relationship with her DS who is rather a "mummy's boy" - he won't let her DH do anything for him at all and it is taking it's toll.

BlessedAssurance - Her close friend was stabbed to death in S.Africa while defending another friend Prayers for all those who knew and love him. xx

shieldbug - Popped by to ask for prayers for a distant relation of hers (13 yr old boy) who was having a big operation today. The operation could possibly leave him with difficulties being able to eat or, at worst, brain damage. So hoping the op went as well as possible ....

CaptainDippy - It would be great if you could all pray for a dear friend of mine who has terminal breast cancer. Due to being a "guinea pig" for some pioneering drugs, she has been with us far longer than we ever could've hoped or expected (10 yrs!!!!); but the drugs are no longer working and she knows it is nearly time to say "goodbye". She has zoomed off to go and see family in Australia and will be embarking on a tour around the UK once she is back. She 's an incredible woman and I just pray she can do everything she wants to do before she gets too poorly and that the end will be so beautiful for her, because she deserves it.

Prayers for the job situation kendodd - may the Lord be in your writing!

Prayers for everyone in Japan right now. The earthquake and tsunami reports have really affected me today. Especially the report about the 200-300 bodies on a beach. Lord please be with all the families who grieve, frightened and suffering.

I've started to feel rough the last few days. Sickness is well and truly kicking in. Its really reassuring at this stage to be feeling so rough, but I'm struggling emotionally. This baby is very wanted and I can't wait to see it on my early scan on 22nd, but Belle is very wanted too. I'm struggling to get past that this little one wouldn't exist if Belle was here. Feeling quite mixed up the last few days.

Hi, im a first timer too, i have girl who's six, im a full time uni student and a single parent. I send my prayers for all the above, but would also like to pray for my own mother who hasnt been well but who still had to go into work today, because her boss is extremely unpleasant and is basically trying to get her to lose her job. Id also like to pray for my daughter. I'd also like to pray for the peoplwe in Japan who are having the most horrific time because of the earthquake

Prayers especially for those memories. DS wouldn't be here if our first hadn't ended as it did...so yes...sort of happy but in a sad way at the time I guess..

Got to clean up the kitchen, drips from the stinky waste pipe and trap) then it is starting on the massive pile of washing up(left to allow plumber access to sink area) and washing. (ds still got runny poo)

Poppy. How are you today?

Yesterday was a bit rubbish as i was so tired. Emotions are still all over the place. I was a feeling a bit like I've had enough of this single parent business and can we stop the game now. unfortunately, this is life now and somehow i have got to adjust to it. Stupid thing get to me. school are stopping paper copies of the newsletter soon. I don't know whether I will even have a computer as quite a bit of it was h's though some of it is joint. It was final straw syndrome. still trying to sort out the church weekend.

We pray to your Lord, to look after those who have survived and give of your great self, to those who have lost loved ones. In the name of your Son Jesus Christ, Amen x

Nothing new to report here, since yesterday. It's been a nice quiet day, which I have enjoyed .

Spoke to DM, (as I do everyday ) and she is going to come down one day next week and help me get, hopefully, all of my things. Which will be brilliant.

Looking forward to another easy day tomorrow, before the new week begins, and I start my "things to do list" for Monday

Could you please pray for me and bump. We're having a bit of trouble of oedema in my legs, ankles and feet. My hands are a little affected but not all the time. I've also got protein in the urine. I had pre-eclampsia late into my pregnancy with DS, but it started in this exact way. Blood pressure was okay on Thursday, so as long as that stays good, then all should be well. Thanks x

Bump is well. Very lively, as always, and (this is going to sound silly), but from what I feel from bump, in the way baby moves, and from what I feel in my heart, I'm sure bump is happy too . Praise and thanks to your Lord, for this connection I feel with my unborn baby. Thank you so much for the gift of your love x.

Please can you also pray for Bump and DS. DS is coping amazingly. He is a constant source of pleasure and pride in this young man. Please pray for him, that he may continue in this strength and that he may know God's love always. Please pray for Bump and the daily joy this little one gives to me x.

I am lucky indeed, thank you God.

Prayers ongoing for all of us, from each other. Thanks for the love and support we are able to give to others in the service of Christ.

Poppy Praying for you, your ds and your bump. Praying that you may have a peaceful time today and strength for tomorrow, dealing with all you have to deal with. Praying for your mother too and for your partner. Praying that he may feel the love God has for him and that he will be able to respond to that love.

I am feeling a bit sorry for myself today. after a slow start yesterday, I finlly got quite a lot of washing done, (yay) and cooked some tea for last night and the freezer. Unfortunately, one of the bags leaked onto the floor and I slipped in bolognaise and jammed my toes under the cooker. I had to lift the cooker to get them out. TMI warning......... big toe nail is broken half way down and bled but still attached I think. Hurt like hell last night, but I have had a previous encounter with a stair gate which helped me not to panic as everything turned out ok then. I also have very sore tummy muscles from lifting the cooker in an awkward position.

Please can I join your thread? I really need all the Christians out there to get on the prayer wagon pretty quickly!

Back story: My friend's DD (3yo) was diagnosed with Wilms Tumours in November. She had tumours on both kidneys, as well as cancer in her lungs.

She had chemotherapy to try to shrink the tumours so that they could remove them, and they did so on Tuesday during a gruelling 6 hour operation. They have managed to leave 60% of one kidney and 75% of the other, but the bad news is that they found cancer in one of her lymph nodes.

She has now spiked a fever, and they are not sure why, and is telling her parents that she doesn't want to die

Please can you all pray for her to be healed of everything that is causing her pain and suffering, and pray for her parents to have the strength to get through this. Their faith has supported them so far, but it isn't easy. They have an amazing group of people praying every day, but I figure such a special little girl can never have too many people asking God to spare her life.

I hope you don't mind me jumping on here and hijacking the thread, but they really need our prayers.
