All being well Ben should arrive midweek. There's a lot to be said for older dogs, many of whom come from family homes and like Ben are already trained and well-mannered. There is always a need for new foster homes as well as permanent homes for these dogs and the Oldies wesite deals specifically in... well, oldies.

This is Ben

Lordy, he's a good looking dog isn't he? Best wishes with him Vallhala - updates would be good

He's gorgeous.
I love GSDs - what a beautiful face he has.

Thing is, I'm a soft touch! I only took up the call (on here) in order to send the word out that Ruff Luck Rescue was desperately in need of foster homes. They don't have kennels of their own so their rescues, if not placed in foster, have to go to boarding kennels which is both expensive and not ideal for the dogs or their chances of being rehomed.

Then I saw Ben, and thought of my own GSD and my late boy, a long haired champagne gentleman whom I lost to terminal illness when he was Ben's age.

Smitten. Sold. Soft touch.

That's not being a soft touch - that's just having a heart!

You could, therefore, you did!
