cat is peeing over the side of litter tray.

i think it is my female moggy because it has only been happening since we got her. i thought the tray had a crack so i bought a new one and it is still happening. would it be worth getting one of teh covered trays? i am fed up of cleaning pee off the floor.

I've got a covered tray and they're so much better than an open one, well worth paying the extra for.

booyhoo, we had this with our male neutered cat. I kept changing the litter thinking the same, that there was a crack. Found out later that because he was getting slightly older he couldnt crouch down as well so it flew out the side.

Agree with the covered trays. I think ours was about £12 and is brilliant for keeping most of the litter inside. Obviously there are still flicked out bits but nowhere near as much.
