He is not allowed off leash outside of the house, because as you witnessed his recall is terrible. This is something we ahve been working on since we got him and believe it or nort he is getting better.
Dd2 opened the door when some sales men knocked. Normally if I am not in the same room as her I lock the door, but I had only walked into the kitchen to put a plate in the sink and I didn't think.
Needless to say the door will be locked at all times now, so that dd2 cannot let him out again and we will continue to work hard on his recall.
If it is of any comfot to you the dog knows he has done and is cuerrently sulking at the top of the stairs avoiding eye contact with me.

P.S I do dress dd2 but she has a habit of removing all the clothing from the lower half of her body when she uses the potty and I didn't have time to dress her, owing to the dog being a pain in the arse.
