been in over winter and i keep thinking i will do it this week, then the weather is cold again.
is it end of feb they are safe to come out?

i actually put them straight out when i bought them, poor babies, on 14th february last year had no choice, but they survived.

i spose i need a long range weather forecast.

The Uk is far to cold/ damp for guinea pigs to be outside. Mine live in a heated shed all year round. During the warmer spells mine go out on the grass in thier runs.
Its much nicer for us too when cleaning them out to be in a dryer place.

Mine go out April-October (ish)

Think it had to be about 10 degrees.

We're still taking 'cold weather precautions' with ours, because even in this milder weather it's still getting down to minus figures at night up here. If yours have been inside over winter you'll need to keep them in until it's consistently mild at night, which probably won't be until April. Even then, you'll need to acclimatise them to it slowly (e.g. building up from a few minutes play outside to an afternoon, to eventually spending the whole day out there and then the nights).

We had snow this morning!

Treat them like tender plants and keep them under cover until the frosts are definitely over - April at least. The weather's all over the place at the moment.
