That's it really - supper is now in the dog. She looks very pleased with herself, though!! Still - at least it is an improvement on on frozen poo.

You need some simple rules.

Firstly, always wear slippers in the house.
It stops them being eaten and keeps socks in place.

Second, don't be so daft as to get a dog that can reach worktops in the first place. Its yet another reason for the superiority of dachshunds over all other canines.

Grimma, you're so right. Mine's only 12 weeks and he can already get things off the worktop. I'm going to have such a tidy kitchen!

I feel the Mac charger pain. Our pup's had two, as well, amazingly with no ill effects on him. His new nickname is SpongeBob PooPants, since I found a terrifying green lump in his poo one morning - nearly had him to the vets before I realised it was a large morsel of delicious pan scrub. He's also partial to a J-cloth, if he can get his paws on one.

Grimma, can't daschies reach a fair distance? Our bassets have short legs but put a bacon sandwich on the side and they turn into Inspector Gadget...
