Rehoming my puppy :(

I have posted about my puppy on here before and got flamed for having her in my bedroom, at the time i was complaining about her weeing on my bed, since that night she has wee'd on the bed twice, last night on dh's pillow, i am giving up now as she is also showing teeth at other dog and yapping like a banshee. I know im doing the right thing, i share this house with dh, ds and mum and brother, puppy is making everybody miserable.
I have tried everything that i possibly can. My mum is around the neighbours house at the moment to see if she wants her, as she has asked before.
Dont really know why im writing this on here but i feel its better than sitting staring at her or crying

My dogs trainer would say: The top dog sleeps in the best place of the house, if you allow it to sleep on your bed, no wonder you are getting such problems.

Marne · 27/11/2009 17:23

Could you not try a puppy training class or a behavioural specialist? I know this could cost a lot of money.

How old is the puppy? My puppy took almost 8 months to house train.

What breed is she? some breeds are harder to train then others.

Marne · 27/11/2009 17:24

My dog sleeps with me (on the sofa) .

PoppyIsApain · 27/11/2009 17:25

Tried keeping her downstairs but she wouldnt shut up, that went on for days till my mum complained, understandably so as the kitchen is right under her bedroom, ive given up, i think she would be better off with someone without children who have the patience, she had been spoilt by her breeders which made it difficult from the start, they used to let her eat off their plates

Mine took a week to house train (once he was sent to sleep downstairs)

PoppyIsApain · 27/11/2009 17:27

Marne my older dog also sleeps with us, he is great, an old boy bless him.
Ive tried puppy training didnt make a difference, she is a pomeranian X yorkie, she just seems really thick.

I agree with you. There is a time for everything, and sometimes forcing the things when you are not ready is not a good idea.

Find her a good home.

PoppyIsApain · 27/11/2009 17:30

Thank you Biobytes
I trained my older dog very well and he was a nightmare, but that was 6 years ago, i have my little boy to think of now, its not as easy. I feel it is better to get out before i get more attached and just struggle unhappily along.

If you have someone who can take the puppy ,who has the time and energy to put into training then i think rehoming is the way to go

controlfreakythecontrolfreak · 27/11/2009 17:57

did you think having a new puppy would be plain sailing without problems?? how old is puppy? what breed?

PoppyIsApain · 27/11/2009 19:19

Of course i didnt think it would be plain sailing, im not stupid and im not asking for peoples sarcastic opinions, i had that the other week, like i said, im just posting as its better than crying. Ive already said what breed she is and she is 6 months old.
Im admitting to a mistake not trying to change my mind. I want her to have a good home that will be able to put her first.

Aww! hope it works for you both (and the dog, of course!)

Feelingforty · 27/11/2009 20:14

ahhh, hope it works out for you both.

The peeing thing is a tricky one. I have a cat who may have a peeing habit. I've just washed her fluffy tail in the bath. I'd hate it if she started peeing any/everywhere.

PoppyIsApain · 27/11/2009 20:20

Im just uploading the pic's, ill let you know when ive sent the email to you, the pics are from a couple of months ago, she is only slightly bigger and a little bit more bushy.
