Need to tell someone about my new puppy!

Just bought a beautiful black lab, 8 weeks' old. He is gorgeous and just wanted to tell someone who liked dogs! We have called him Jedd. Lots of puddles and poos no doubt but he is lovely!

Would be interested to hear how you get on. Our kids are desperate for a dog but Im not sure we are ready for one just yet...

Will keep you informed. I have a friend who has 5 dogs so she is helping me with all the know how! DH is not keen at all but I think we can win him round. He has told me he doesn't want to be responsible for it at all. The children (5, 7 and 10) are estatic! It has taken me 17 years to get my way! We always had dogs as a child.

we got a yellow lab pup who was also 8 weeks when we got him, he was so quick to house train, and been brilliant as regards to dd(15 mth) and they are the best of friends , the only probs we have had is the chewing business which is to be expected, he is 6 mth old now, and a lovely dog, couldnt have asked for a easier pup to train etc

I also thought of mentioning that this book is unbelievable helpful to housetrain your dog fast.
