Have you asked a local school or nursery if they would like some? My friend's nursery used to have some.

Yer that is a good idea. I have worked in a few nurseries that have them. I would just ring round as many as you can.

Hope you find some good homes for them!

Have you tried your local netmums?

Where are you based ?

twinklytoes · 02/02/2009 20:26

would be interested if you were local too

our local Wyvale has a reptile centre now as well as fish and rabbits etc - I have seen these snails there - perhaps they will take them. I have a friend who keeps giving them baby fish!

I'd be interested, DS hasn't stopped talking about getting a pet since we saw ZooLab at nursery, I was looking into getting a stick insect though. Are they easy to keep?

PaulaMummyKnowsBest · 03/02/2009 16:34

We have a garden centre near us that does pets too, they sometimes have african land snails too.
