lined up outside our back door by our cat

feel so upset, I know it's cat nature, but I love shrews she wears a bell as her killing sprees were getting out of control - seems to have stopped her catching birds (except two baby blackbirds the other day - sob) but is there anything that will stop her catching other animals?

No, I'm afraid not. It's in their nature.

so weird, her sister catches NOTHING, yet this one is so proficient, she literally steps outside and comes back a few mins later with something

Its down to the individual cat.

ONe of ours used to bring in twigs and worms and hasnt really brought much in since.

The other one rarely catches anything either. The problem is, on the very odd occasion she does - she drops it and we then have to find it.

The other week she dropped it and the other cat was acting strangely staring at apparently nothing..... the vole appeared very late at night one night whilst MNing! I had to wake DH up and we spent nearly an hour trying to catch the thing.

The next day the cat brought in the BIGGEST moth you've ever seen. We thought it was a small bird at first! Where she found it we'll never know - we dont live near woods or such like (just inside M25, lol!)

Tis VVVQV btw....

oh, hello VVVV, how long have you namechanged for?

yeah, one of ours (appropriately named Mouse!) has caught two worms and that is it, she's a pacifist now, I think

funny, though, it's the soppy one round humans who is the killer!
