Over 90 per cent of claims about vets are rejected by RCVS. Defra consultation on Veterenary Complaints Reform ends 25th March. It is not fit for purpose and does not bring any fairness to pet owners or pets. There should be an independent body to investigate complaints against vets. As a vet who really wants a new veterinary surgeons act - most of us do.

Thank you Needanadultgapyear, I hope pet owners and vets who have animal welfare at heart make contributions and write to Defra about importance of having a fair vet system and an impartial body that looks into complaints about vets.
