Pet care costs...walkers and daycare

Hi all
Prompted by the 'how much do you pay for your cleaner" thread, I wondered how much you spend on dog walkers or daycare a week.

I spend on average £30 a week. 1 walk (he goes on a 2 hour pack walk) and 1 fully day at daycare.

Where are you, that's incredibly cheap! A long pack walk in South Wales is £18, daycare £25-30.

My walker charges £15 ...oh and daycare with a different person is £16. I've been with her years and think new people she charges £20 plus.

gosh that seems so cheap - I was thinking daycare would be £30 min. I guess as solo walk would be more.

£30 a week- an hours pack walk twice a week. He doesn’t like many/any other dogs but loves his dog Walker & the others she takes out.
sounds like you’ve got a bargain! I’m on the iow & most charge a lot more than mine does so I feel very lucky

£13 for once a week pack walk / run in a secure field. It should be an hour but most weeks he's actually out of the house for about two, she collects him in her converted van. Extra days can usually be accommodated with a bit of notice. I realise I have struck gold!

I think I have struck gold but the daycare person I've supported from when she first started up. My walker charges £15 for hour normally I think but when on pack walk she takes her own dogs out too and goes for about 2 hours.
I honestly couldn't manage full time work on my own without this support.
