Quite random and I have a guess but please reassure me it's not rat prison or something! Am in London

Couscous?

Vintagefair · 31/07/2025 21:07

Suet pellets that someone has put down for birds?

3beesinmybonnet · 31/07/2025 21:31

I think rat poisons are usually brightly coloured for identification, so hopefully not that.

I would also guess giant cous cous but I’m not sure I would take the risk tbh. Would be down the vet for an antiemetic if I wasn’t sure

Looks like cous cous. There is a women in my local park whose often sprinkling food like that, mostly in winter though, “for the birds”. It’s so annoying.

Could it be slug or snail eggs?

Steelworks · 31/07/2025 22:16

Let me guess, a lab?

I second snail eggs.

Rat poison is bright blue or bright purple and is grains rather than round bits.
