My puppy had a nasty tic, we used Frontline today and it dropped off but...............

it's left quite a nasty lump - it doesn't look infected or anything - will it just go down after a wile - just a bit concerned 'cos it's near his eye, it doesn't seem to be bothering him though ?
Any tic experts out there ??

my cat had one yesterday and I pulled it off - lump already starting to go down - it will be fine

Thanks - My cat's had them before but never had this lumpy thing left ! Glad its the norm x

Usually Frontline lets the whole tick fall off, whereas pulling a tick off can leave its head stuck in the skin and lead to an abscess. If the lump doesn't go in a day or two I'd see the vet as it may be infected.
