11 month old unneutered male pup suddenly dribbling wee - why?!

He's not actually weeing up against things, so it doesn't look like he's marking territory, but today I've noticed small puddles when he's been asleep and it's clearly from him, IYSWIM!
Am befuddled. Has been houstrained since 4 months and has never had problems at night, being left etc.
Could it be the heat? Could it be an infection? Could he just be a lazy git? Is it stress? - he's being treated for a sore hotspot where he was bitten by a tick recently.
Any ideas folks? Thanks!

He might have a urinary infection.

Oh Gawd. Will take him to the vet's. He's been more times than I've been to the doctor's in the last year, and I've got a toddler and am pregnant. Thank god for insurance...

Ah - that might explain it. He had a steroid jab on Saturday which lasts 5 days. And he's having steroid cream on the spot twice daily. Thanks for that. Will wait to see how he is after treatment.

Hope it clears up whatever the cause.

He's also old enough to be neutered.

Yup - I know. I'm going to call the vet this week and sort it. Poor lad - he loves his balls...
