I have noticed some Groomers offer this service. As anyone used ultrasound cleaning with their dogs, and what did you think about it?

Thank you

It's not a substitute for proper teeth cleaning under anaesthesia. I'd say it's good for maintenance or if your dog has pretty clean teeth anyway, but it won't solve issues like gingivitis or dental disease.

Just don’t. My daughter is a vet and these groomers cause untold damage and harm and cannot treat dental disease. Would you have a beautician treat your teeth rather than a qualified dentist?

Our local groomers offers this. I asked our vet if he recommended it and he said he had seen some good results from it and it could help avoid teeth getting bad needing anaesthetic for cleaning. He suggested a couple of times a year. Our has had it once so far, but her teeth were pretty clean before. Probably worth it to prevent teeth needing treatment by vet
