How to feed messy cats in summer house without being bullied by other cats.

Just moved into a beautiful new home. We have two cats who are really messy eaters, even with mats down. The plan was to install a cat flap and feed them in the sumer house. This worked fine at first but know we have two neighbouring cats that are eating there food and our two are refusing to eat. They don't wear collars so can't have an automatic cat flap, has anyone got any ideas.?

You can get microchip catflaps. Works using the existing microchip so no collar required

Microchip cat flap is the answer. Dcat doesn’t wear a collar but our microchip cat flap is awesome, works perfectly.

As others have said, microchip cat flaps - but how will feeding them outdoors work in the winter?

Ours are messy eaters too - I just let them get on with it tbh, the dog clears up any mess Grin

@cinnamonfrenchtoast I don't think they are fed outdoors as OP said they are fed in the summer house so that will be indoors

Yeah I understand that - I just meant that they may not want to go through the garden to the summer house in the middle of winter!

A microchip cat flap is a good shout but honestly failing that just feed the poor things inside surely them eating is more important to you than your new beautiful house staying 100% clean and tidy?
