Removing Cat Flap and Restoring Door in Rental Property

I live in a rental house and would like to put a cat flap in the uPVC double glazed door. If I did this, how easy/expensive would it be to put it back the way it was afterwards?

New door I’d presume?

You would have to replace the panel in the door.

It's a fairly new door. Would it be fairly straightforward to replace the bottom panel as it is plastic and not glass?

Should be, I would find a local independent company and ask for a quote and check it is a standard construction etc.

I look after a property that is rented.
I've just said it is fine for the tenants to change the bottom panel to one with a cat flap on condition that they store the existing panel so it can be replaced when they leave.

A double glazing company did mine for £150. Cheapest quote around. But that was for toughened double glazing panel so yours should be much cheaper.
