2 of our guinea pigs have died,3rd has appoinment later : (

one died on friday night,another last night,third seems ok,bit quiet but probably wondering where the hell her sisters are!vet suggested could be either infection or enviromental so have scrubbed hutch out.children dont know about second one dying yet.

Aw how sad One of our's died suddenly a few weeks ago so have much sympathy for you and the children.

hi,shes okish.the vet said she seems ok but empty as isnt really eating.he has no idea why the other 2 died.he said they can have diseases etc that dont show until they come under stress.but cant think of stress-we have 3 children but surely used to them.shes hiding in her igloo most the time but has sneaked out a bit.shes weeing and pooing in there though.

now 3rd died today!no idea why.she was lonely after the other 2 went and hadnt really been eating or drinking.she was mainly staying in her igloo-even going to the tiolet in there.so if things had carried on like that it wouldnt have been much of a life anyway but still especially at having to tell the children that yet another pet had died.

Are your DC home from school yet moljam? How have they taken it? So sorry for you all

they were upset but more worried about the rabbit dying tooshes fine but think they assume 3 other pets have died so shes next.
