Dog groomer in Cambridgeshire, anyone used one?

My spaniel is getting very unkempt and we need to take him to be sorted out but I'm reluctant to take him anywhere without a recommendation, as he is my PFB dog

Anyone used a groomer in Cambridgeshire and can recommend or tell me to avoid?

SIL has used one in Potton and had no complaints. Don't know the name, but I'd be suprised if there was more than one there.

I use a fab one in Beds (Doggy Style ), also for a spaniel, but I guess that might be a bit far even for a PFB? They do work wonders though....

Muffin I can't find details of a 'Doggy Style' in Beds, found groomers with that name in Essex, Herts, Northants but not in Beds. Whereabouts in Beds is it, can you say?

I think Shuttleworth college have a dog grooming service if yu dare let a load of students loose on him! My mum uses one in biggleswade called hollywood dogs for her border collie, he comes out looking lovely and fluffy

They operate out of Hazel Corner Kennels in Markyate (just realised they are just in Herts there ), but they also have a mobile service and will come out to your home. The lady who runs it lives in Luton, but I know she travels far and wide. She goes over to St Albans (not far, but horrific traffic), so might well reach Cambs too.

thanks Muffin - we actually found one close to us - rang our vets and the lady on reception said she has a Cavalier like us and recommended her lady. We are booked in for next week!
