Cat ill every May

Our cat is always ill in May. Sick, off food, sleeping for hours and hours. A couple of years ago it was bad enoughthat he needed to go to the vets. They said he might have cat asthma. But it only seems to happen in May. Has anyone elsehad this happen to their cat?

My girl gets terrible allergies in April. Runny eyes, sneezing, sleeping all day.

Allergic to something that blooms in May would be my guess.

Cat has been to the vets this week. So unwell. Not eating etc. Ended up staying in overnight on Sunday. Now on anti inflammatories and antibiotics. They said he has an infection. Its just so strange.

Fleas generally wake up around May.
