Rabbits - what bedding? Am sick of wood shavings all over the house

We recently got 2 dwarf rabbits who are living in a big cage inside until the spring, when we hope to introduce them to a hutch in the big outdoors. In the meantime their bedding (wood shavings) is getting everywhere and it's making me

Is there anything else they can have as bedding that won't stick to clothes, shoes, rugs etc and get trailed all over the house?

Oooh, I could have written this post! We got our two rabbits 2 weeks ago and have had the same nightmare problem. (Have just bought myself a robot vacuum cleaner by the way.)

We've now abandonned the sawdust except in the 'litter' tray, and put down newspaper instead. It's easier to scoop up and throw away.

They still have straw for bedding obviously.

hay and straw
some people use paper shredded but personally I wouldn't. if bunny was to eat it, not great imo.

Yes we were told that the printing ink on newspaper isn't good for the rabbits. Straw - will try that. Thanks.
