Our 5 month old male cat is smelling like fox poo- Is this him scenting!??!

Hello, he is 5 months old, just this week I can smell a really pungent smell on him- it smells like fox poo, i thought he might of been frolocking in it in our garden but i can smell it on him today- smells like him, not on his coat!? Does that make sense!? He isn't neutered yet, next month he goes, but is he already spraying????

Bugger it, is there anything i can do? He is due to be neutered 10th December? He really smells quite offensive!!!

Sounds like my male kitten many years ago, at the same age. Suddenly the litter tray and him started to stink! It could well be time to get him neutered, as he has now reached the cat equivalent of puberty. Ask the vet if they can do him sooner, after which the smell will go away!
