This is a very long story and a strange request but I need some help.
I need a certain type of fish medicine for my poorly fish which is only available with a prescription from a vet, yet you can buy it anywhere else in the world over the counter except for Australia.
Ihave tried to order it over the net but no-where will let me ship to UK.

I have contacted a Fish Doc today but he is located in London and he wants me to bring the fish, from Wiltshire to London and back again to give me the stuff she needs, and charge me £30 for the privilege plus the cost of the meds which will total around £80 plus the cost of fuel to get there and as much as I love her..... I can't afford it anyway and without this stuff she is going to die painfully and slowly.
BTW, the stuff is dirt cheap in the US too!!

I need someone to buy some for me, after I have paypalled them the money first of course (So ideally, I would like someone quite regular to help me ) then send it to me as quick as poss. I would also pay for this of course.

She is truly lovely and her name is Oprah if you're interested, she is a Black Moor & weighs around a kilo!
Google Black Moor. She is lovely!

Can anyone please,please help me??

If you are certain what you need then any vet should be able to issue you with a prescription once they have seen the fish. Most vets in the UK will probably say they will not see it because they simply have not enough knowledge of fish medicine (me included) - but if you are able to provide the information for them about what you suspect, why and the treatment you need then that may be a different situation and many vets will probably co-operate with this, especially if you make it clear you are not holding them responsible for any negative outcome. I would call your local vet surgery and explain the situation to them, explain you understand the lack of knowledge and are not criticising but out of desparation and the wish to avoid killing your fish off with a long journey that you would like them to see your fish so they can legally write a prescription for you.

I hope that someone is able to help you.
