Hi, Hope all ok. Am very sad as keep being harassed at home. Under attack really. Mh services, pple bothering me.
Cat has been ill & took to rspca shop but late & shut. Next thing, inspector at door. Said have duty of care and may be charged. Very officious. Took statement and I had to sign loads. Took cat said take to vet, I said could rehome him. Then said may euthanise, nasty man asking lots of questions which should not answer. Said would call, calame back harasssing me. Left basket. Read article someone prosecuted. Very worried. Thinkbring of leaving country as have a lot a lot of issues. Do not need this. Showed no empathy. Told cat I loved him and sorry. Very upset now. Any views/support welcome

Doesnt really make much sense but if you cant give the cat the care he needs then really he should be rehomed. Please engage with support offered to you, get yourself better.

HelenaDove · 09/08/2018 19:36

So they have taken the cat OP?

BackToTheFuschia7 · 09/08/2018 19:37

You sound like you’re struggling at the moment, is there anyone offline who can offer some support and advocate for you?

Where is your cat now? Have you signed them over to the RSPCA?

CanuckBC · 09/08/2018 19:37

Slow down... So your cat is sick, why did outside sources get involved? You said you tried to bring to the rspca, why didn’t the “people” who came to your house accept that? I am sure you mean no ill will to your cat!

Is there someone you can ask for help?

MrsPreston11 · 09/08/2018 19:38

I really don’t understand anything you said.

Poor Cat though. I think.

MamaBearThius · 09/08/2018 19:38

No advice I'm afraid just sending you some Flowers sounds like a horrible day for you. Do you have friends or family you could speak to? Or your gp perhaps?

Namechangeforthiscancershit · 09/08/2018 19:38

If you love your cat (most of the time- no cats are loveable 24/7) then you have done the right thing getting him the treatment he needs.

You now need to sort out what you need. There seems to be a lot going on at once.

IKnowItsTIMHONKSTIMHONKS · 09/08/2018 19:39

This is... Odd. Do you have mental health support in place?

Namechangeforthiscancershit · 09/08/2018 19:39

I don’t think you should leave the country

Glumglowworm · 09/08/2018 19:41

You’re not making much sense, it may be worth engaging with the MH services you say are harassing you, they’re just concerned

Sorry about your cat

Whatsnewwithyou · 09/08/2018 19:41

I love animals but sometimes rescue organisations can be way over the top. Rspca has a reputation for this unfortunately. I hope you're ok and taking good care of yourself. Try not to let the mean people get you down, I know easier said than done. Flowers

LivininaBox · 09/08/2018 19:46

If you have tried to get help for your cat and you haven't purposefully hurt him then it is very unlikely you would be prosecuted.

Try and get some help for yourself now. Can you chat to a friend or family member about your worries?

MartyMcFly1984 · 09/08/2018 19:50

I think the mh services might just be worried about you. Like you said you have lots of stress at the min. Maybe they can help. Won't hurt to see. Def don't leave the country.

Broussard · 09/08/2018 19:52

I think you need to engage with the MH services who are trying to give you the help you clearly need.
Best of luck

recklessruby · 09/08/2018 19:52

Slow down and try and tell us everything that's happening. Am a bit confused.
Where is your cat now? Why are people harassing You At home? Who are the people? Do you feel safe right now?

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 09/08/2018 19:54

OP you do sound very stressed right now. I think that the MH team are probably worried that you are not coping. Please engage with them and get as much support as possible. I am sure your cat knows you love them.
