The dog is a bitch, called Lucy, she is chipped, but didnt have her collar on. She was being looked after by friends, as my mum was away.

She is your typical short haired jack russell. Think she may have been frightened by fireworks, and escaped the yard.

no speccy, i hadnt thought of that at all. Mum does have a pc but would really know how to do something like that, and I, even tho I'm online alot had no idea, or even thought about this.

Just to say that they found her by the roadside, she had obv been trying to get home. My mum had moved, very recently you see.

Lucy had spent a week walking, and wasnt that far off, about 2 km apparently. Quite a brave little dog.

My mum is in a right state, her dh is here in the UK.

Its very sad, but in time I hope at least they realise that they got to know what happened to her.

her dh is here, in devin. they had just flown back to gatwick from hols, and he came down here, for business reasons and mum went back to spain to collect the dog.

So, she is on her own, but has a few freinds a few miles awa, where the dog was being looked after. Unfortunately the dog , obv tried to go back to their 'new' house.

They had only just moved to this new house, so thats why it is amazing the dog 'knew' the direction to go looking.

I just want mum to come back here for a while.

Hope she comes back to recover from the shock...
