I think my female cat is in season

The cats don't go out so I don't have to worry about some tom getting to her. She is making a strange meowing noise to my male cat, and he has been grabbing her around the neck, thing is, he is nutured!! Will he still try to get with her?? I must get her to the vet to be nutured.....

Don't know if he'll still try but if he's neutered it's not really a worry is it! lol
When my cat was in season she was so lovely with me, she got very very affectionate, got very cuddly and funny. Those mad kitten rampages of legging it up and down the stairs for half an hour made a reappearance too

she is chasing him, dirty hoe!! He keeps licking her neck then grabbing her I hope they don't try it in front of the kids

I would so love a cat....I'd pick the one from the home that no-one wants - blind, deaf, three legged...I don't care......

when can I book her in neuturing?? I know that vets don't like to neuture while they are in season, but how long does it last??

Ime it's about 1 -2 weeks. Mine was in season for about 10 days I think. It's not too long, but she'll probably drive you crazy with mad behaviour

great!! She is laying on the floor atm, have noticed she is being nasty to my other neutured female cat, is she worried that Dory will get with Nemo?? lol

Vets can spay a cat whether a cat is in season or not. They dont have a regular pattern like dogs, their seasons can be influanced. A tom can bring a cat into heat just from the smell of him so unlike dogs they can be done at anytime.

Does she smell? My cat stank to high heavens when she came into season just before she was neutered.

It quite funny, as she is wiggling her bum in my male cat's face and he just ain't interested, he bats her away and walks off She is fine till the evening, but then the mieowing starts again. DD1 asked why she was making a funny mieowing noise earlier There is one male cat that is camping out in our garden atm, I keep letting the dog out...

oh he is a bugger!!! he acts like he will mate her and then walks away pmsl!! Its driving me mad with the constant mieowing.. She will be booked in for spaying asap!!!

just phoned the cat protection and they are sending me a vouncer to get her neutured, spoke to vets and they said as soon as I get the vouncer to phone them and they will book her in the same day... she is driving me mad... can't do this every few weeks.... how can people keep their female cats unneutured???

My cat fell in love with my husbands feet and then when he put his socks on she went crazy when she first went on heat!! I got her spayed a week later. The noise was dreadful.

the noise is terrible, my poor male cat looks so tired as she will not leave him alone, even though he is neutured...
