I've tried googling but have not really find a suitable kennel for my Giant Breed dog

She's a Bernese.

I am not looking for one with a run, just a traditional kennel where she can shelter from the rain / sun as required.

Any ideas?

You might be better off with a small garden shed, with a 'hatch' type door.
I have my springer in one, with a run attached.
As for the cold, we bed him down with a thick (knee deep) layer of straw

There is a place in Poole who make garden sheds etc and I think they do things to your specification, so they could probably make you one.

What about a childs play house?

Some brilliant suggestions here - thanks very much. Quite a bit of choice now so I am going to get my tape measure out to compare to the sizes that they have mentioned, and the will make a decision

Good luck.

Using straw/shredded paper as bedding will keep your dog toasty (as well as getting the wet/muddy off them)
