DH has said i have to sell/rehome my Chihuahua pup,am distraught

My gorgous huge chihuahua has to go,dh says she not getting the attention she deserves and its not fair.I know he is right but im so upset at the thought i keep bursting into tears

Can understand why you are upset though. I had to rehome a black labrador pup several years ago because dh couldn't stand the chaos and destruction and it broke my heart.

i have very large chi's,dont know why they got so big,but i have 2 other chi's and a shar-pei and dh says pup is just too bouncy to have around the baby,but i shall miss her

can't it be trained ? Surely if you have a number of dogs and are therefore an experienced dog owner, then a boisterous puppy shoudn;t be beyond your remit ?

Sorry, it just sounded odd to me, huge chihuahua ? has other dogs yet this one not getting the attention etc.

I would be very sad to have to get rid of my dog too.

WHy don't you take it for classes and train it?

MY chi's are not tiny,max size should be 6lb mine weigh nearly 10.pup is from my other chi,she was supposed to go to a new home like the rest of litter but they pulled out,found another buyer for her,turned out to be breeders,so wouldnt let her go there.
I have 3month old baby and DH tours alot so has been hard to devote enough time to training her.Its my fault she has to go as if i spent the time on her it would be fine.She very sweet but very excitable,its like shes on springs.Unfortunatly when i try to train her the baby cries or needs attention,i feel so mean as cant have her in the room with me unless my baby is in bed or in her pram as she jumps all over the place.

I wouldnt stress too much about it. You cant give her the attention she needs with a 3 month old baby.

My Cousin wants her,but she spends lots of time abroard so dont know what she thinks she can do with her when she is away.

We're in North Yorkshire but I'm sure we could sort something out.
We already have a dog and he is walked twice a day. We have a big house so theres plenty of room for them to run around and we also live near the dales so plent of opportunities for some good walks.

Can I ask a few questions.
How old is she? Is she toilet trained at all? What is she like with your children?

Hi ladies,she is7months old,she is paper trained,or goes through catflap when its good weather.She is very bouncy and jumps up alot,but she is not bad with kids,she is rubbish with cats though.
She is brown,shorthaired,with huge ears and loves company,she just spent last 10mins licking everyone adoringly.Sorry think im gonna blub again
