If the neighbours have racing pigeons I can't really get a cat can I?

Hi, I'm new to mums net. It's great isn't it 😂😂😂. The neighbours were here a lot longer before I moved next door. They have racing pigeons. In a coop. I still can't really get a cat can I? If I did I would be letting it outside. Any thoughts? My daughter has been asking for a cat but I just think it may cause problems with neighbours I get on with quite well.

You could speak to them, they may already have measures in place to stop cats going near the pigeons

You can cat proof your own garden or get a cat that's deaf or has a medical condition that means it can't go out.
