Telling the sex of a budgies, anyone know???

I have recently been given another 2 budgies (makes 3 in total!) and i am unsure of there sex, so i was wondering if anyone knows how to tell the sex of a budgies?

Put a lipstick in the cage and see which one goes for it first.

The males have a blue bit at the top of their beak the females have a brown bit.

Does not develop till they are a few months old though.

Blow on there bums and see what appears.

Ok, thanks, so by what you say, i have 2 boys and one girl (so much for the 2 new ones being a girls then)

Yup def brown for the ladies blue for the boys, i cant believe I actually know this, how sad (though helpful) am I!!!

The colour of there beaks, two of them have blue bits around there nostrils and one has brown!
